I recently had the pleasure of visiting this local pharmacy, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and an inviting atmosphere. The customer service is top-notch; the staff went above and beyond to ensure I had all the information I needed and that my questions were answered promptly. What truly stands out is the expertise of their team. The pharmacist, in particular, showcased a wealth of knowledge and took the time to explain my medications in detail, ensuring I was comfortable and informed. It’s rare to find such a blend of professionalism and personal touch these days. I wholeheartedly recommend this pharmacy to anyone in need of quality care and service.

Victor, the drug store owner and pharmacist, is a true gem. He is extremely knowledgeable, bends over backwards to ensure you get your medication on time and is an extremely kind human being. I am so grateful to get the personal service that's so rare to find these days, at this neighborhood pharmacy.

I am so impressed with this drug store. I forgot to get my husband's diabetes medicine and by the time I remembered store was closed. I left a voice message and to my great surprise the owner of this pharmacy heard message and took it upon himself to drop it off. He knew our address because we have medicine dropped off. So very nice of him. I couldn't believe it. He turned a very stressful situation into a nice one.

Small, neighborhood operation with the high level of care and customer service to match. Small selection of essentials, full pharmacy, vaccines etc. Great local pharmacy!

Unfortunately I am on quite a few medications so I am constantly going to pick up one medication after another. After Nathan from South Bay pharmacy lies to me I decided to stop using his services while I was ahead. Sadly I had togo back to the overworked folks at CVS. Yes the pharmacists and their support staff are kinds but they're completely overworked. I don't have time to wait 3h for a 12 pill RX or stand in line for an hour to pick something up especially when my prescriptions are not all filled at the same time each month. I was sitting casually looking up pharmacies and came across PV Drugstore. Victor answered the phone and could tell I was upset about my situation. He immediately calmed me down and told me that he will do what he can to take care of me. Bonus points, he saved me time by having me take a picture of my RX and text it to him to see if he had the medications in stock. He did and told me to come on by. He greeted me at the door (the don't dog that anywhere) and helped me inside. I was so touched by the kindness I asked him if it would be possible to have all of my prescriptions filled by him so they could be in one place. He said, "since you are now family I will advocate for you and I will make sure you are taken care of properly." He called CVS to have the profile transferred, to which they said "Laura has had her profile transferred out twice and she always comes back." She continued to use the "multiple pharmacy" thing to get him to not have me as a patient. Keep in mind, when I did switch pharmacies everything stayed in one place. Since she wouldn't shut up, he interrupted her and said "she's my friend, don't you worry about it." She hung up on him. I don't know if they transferred it over yet but the pharmacist (Claire) hung your on him.I was so touched, I moved my uncle's entire profile over to Victor. South Bay called and asked if everything was okay because he's a Medicare patient and has a ton of prescriptions which equals a lot of money. I told them "no but everything will be okay". I look forward to being a patient at PV Drugstore and finally being treated like a human being instead of a $ sign. I mean, I was using crutches and he walked me outside to my car and put the crutches in my trunk and made sure I was okay. I shed a tear, but it was tears of happiness.

This drugstore is awesome! The owner, Victor, is so attentive and professional. It is wonderful having a pharmacist know you and your family. If you haven't been here-please check it out!

Victor is so amazing and helpful. He is 100 percent knowledgeable and goes the extra mile for his customers. I only support small local businesses, but sone like the Pillbox are so full of themselves and rude. Victor at PV Drugs is the total opposite and treats people like family with respect and dignity.

Pharmacist Victor is wonderful and truly cares! He will call into insurance plan to make sure they pay properly so patient isn’t spending more “out-of-pocket”. Thankful to have him as our PV Drug neighborhood pharmacy! Really helped me out today 12.18.18. THE BEST!

I very rarely post on social media, but I have to give a shout out to PV Drugstore in Lunada Bay. As you probably know, generic brands of prescription drugs are frequently made by several different manufacturers (Sandoz, Teva, Aurobindo, etc). In my case, I can only tolerate a generic drug I need to take made by one specific manufacturer. Unfortunately, the chain drugstores and big box retailers no longer carry that brand -- probably because they can make more profit by buying it from manufacturers in other countries -- and they claim they can't get it for me. After calling dozens of pharmacies in the area, I finally found Victor, the pharmacist at PV Drugstore. He quickly and easily ordered the brand I can tolerate and is keeping it in stock for me. And it's just as cheap ($1.50 for 30 pills) as all the other brands. Victor is such a nice, caring pharmacist, who truly takes his time and listens and gets to know his customers. He's a throw -back to the days when your neighborhood pharmacist knew your name and really cared about helping you feel better, no matter what ails you. He grew up in the area and supports his community by doing business there. So if you need a good pharmacist, you might want to give him a call.
