“Adorable deli and market next to the beach with great sandos, as well as a vast selection of Italian foods and treats. I got the Turkey Deluxe which was quite good. The deluxe option comes with lettuce and tomato, which is pretty standard in my book. I love the option to have your sandwich heated, and that you can modify and add items like avo, bacon, olives, and many other goodies. The regular size was more than enough for lunch. The sandwich was a bit heavy on the mayo and the bread was just a bit dry. The turkey itself was great, but I found the cheddar cheese selection overpowering, would definitely only have Swiss or provolone next time. Service was great, sandwich was up in about 5 minutes after ordering. Metered parking was really easy, and the outdoor eating area by the beach was perfect! Definitely a classic spot!”

“This is one of the last authentic Liquor stores that I feel is left in our neighborhood it has been there for over 50 years there are no cages big windows when you go to check out just a very nice friendly atmosphere from the owner to the employees if you want to purchase something and have a conversation that’s exactly what well happen if you want to stop in and say hello anyone of the team members will stop what they’re doing and chat with you it hasn’t changed much other than the name which used to be Yukon liquor and Then ABC liquor store they are fully supplied with everything from ice cream candy bars cold beverages of your choice and of course a friendly hello and goodbye and thank you for coming. it’s definitely part of The north Torrance family I have nothing to say but good things about every single person working there specially the owner he will go out of his way to make you comfortable and make sure your needs are fulfilled Five stars all the way. And thank you very much to you and all of your staff for your kindness and being helpful to find what you need it really is a one stop shop store. For those who are passing through I know you will remember to stop here again for those who are locals we know exactly where to go to Lucky dog liquor and Mart is within your reach for most of the neighborhood it is walking distance which gives you away and give you a little bit of incentive to walk instead of drive for your Health unless you’re in a hurry either way they will accommodate your needs all you have to do is ask. If you know you no the area Yukon ave and Artesia Boulevard you are a lucky dog Customer I think it’s true!Stop in and look around it will catch your attention on the inside a lot of work went into this in my opinion you will love the inside but you’ll never forget the outside specially growing up in the neighborhood. Fred, the owner, is a wonderful host who introduced everyone to everyone and before long, I - a giant, self-conscious introvert- was chatting and laughing right along with everyone else. “I've been going to this shop for candy for a while and I have grown a sense of local community love towards this store, or as the kids call it, Mr. Kim's. I'm not sure why people complain about Mr. Kim and his store aisles being messy or mean. To be honest, its a convenience store and people are holding it up to too high of expectations like a fancy market or something.
