Cool little shop, had a look see and they had some rather usable stuff. Even had some clothes in my size! I'm 2XL with most shirts and 42 pants and they had more stuff in my size than most times I go to good will.
Lots of glassware and ceramic to be had. I know a lot of people are into that.
Super friendly service, I'll be making my way back in no time. XD

So, I am a little biased on this review as I worked a part-time job here. The manager, Shannon, is great both with employees and customers.Their mission to help their community thru, providing reused clothes and other household items for their customers as well as adopting out cats from their sanctuary. They're a nonprofit company. They have 25% off sales every Wednesday and 50% every last Saturday of the month. Lots of great finds. Check it out for yourself.

Hi there I am the new manager of Another Chance thrift store. please come out and see all the changes made to the store. We accept donations Tuesday thru Saturday from 10:30 to 2:30. We have a wide variety of household goods, collectibles, name brand clothes, at a reasonable price, flash sales, and friendly staff members. We are a non-profit with all of our proceeds going to our local cat sanctuary. All proceeds stay local and help local communities. Come out and see what is new. NO more urine smells.

When coming to Palo Cedro I always stop and take a look at what they have in their donation thrift store. I had stopped by around 2:40pm and knowing the store will be closing at 3pm. I was outside looking at what was on the racks, two people came out of the store and started to take things in, so I walked away, because the women looked at me very strangely, she did not say a word to me if they were closing early. There was 10 minutes left before 3:00pm. I had noticed they locked the doors and shut off the open sign. So called and asked why they were closing so early, the women said she had help there and she wanted the other employee to take things in so she would not have to left anything. I asked to speak with a manager, and she responded that she was the manager. She talked over me, and she kept raising her voice giving all kinds of excuses to why she was closing early, which made me raise my voice. So, I hung up.This place has really gone downhill really. What they sell there are clothes that should be recycled or thorn away. Everything is in bad shape. And, the people who work there are very rude. Not at all friendly.

Another Chance Animal Welfare League is a wonderful organization. The volunteers are very friendly and always have a helpful attitude each time I come in.I really appreciate all the help they've done for our community. The thrift store is run by volunteers and rely on donations to help pay for spay, neuter and vaccinations for all the kitties they take in and adopt out.Thank you ACAWL for all that you do! I love coming into your thrift store and spending money! I will always support a non-profit that does good work in our community. If you need a place to donate your items, their donation days are Tuesday's, Wednesday's and Saturday's during their business hours.I'm so glad we've had the pleasure of having such a wonderful organization like Another Chance around for many years and I hope they never shut down.

I used to love this thrift store. I used to bring my kids and let them carry their own baskets and fill them up with whatever they wanted. Now their prices are outrageous. Their prices are like they are a resale store, not a thrift store. They have fake “designer” items priced really high and labeled as designer. If they are going to sell designer items like they’re eBay they should authenticate like eBay. Don’t label as designer if you aren’t going to do the leg work of authenticating. It’s pretty scammy. They should have stuck with being a thrift store - not competing with ebay. Shut the store down and sell on eBay if you want to compete with eBay.They lost a good customer - I used to spend hundreds of dollars there a year when it was a real thrift store. My kids loved it there and asked to go there all the time.I hope the lady that used to run the store is ok, I really liked her. She was so nice to my kids. The other cat store down the road SNAP is great! Such cheerful people working there and they have thrift store prices. And they have cats inside the store - my kids definitely love that.

They don't respond and when they do they were pretty rude. You'd think they would want to find their cats homes but doesn't really seem that way.

Great small good will type store. With all proceeds going to take care of needy cats.
