The space is very nice. It provides a platform to uplift women in the Palo Alto community. The recent forum was exceptional.

We had a private function there and the staff was super helpful. The venue itself is a beautiful old building. Stage and various seating arrangement are available. We kept it very simple but you can make it super fancy too.

Very disappointed to learn who the current yoga instructor is. Appalling and against the core values that are part of being a leader (IMO), especially in the healing arts. I found this individual to be very disappointing, judgmental, unforgiving, ruthless, self serving, and politically motivated. She displayed no regard for the damage she inflicted on others. Two years after working with this person I continue to suffer the wounds of PTSD that I was left with after she completely turned on me under the direction of the club president of 2019-2020. Completely toxic environment.

Terrible experience with wedding planning. Place is run by volunteers and they have poor communication among themselves and with clients, and they are never on the same page. They do not follow contract they give you and create their own rules last minute.Kept interrupting our wedding as early as 7-8 pm to turn down music when contract says you can keep music loud till 10 pm.Do not recommend if you plan to have a legitimate party with DJ.

The Woman's Club of Palo Alto has the perfect charm to bring our Mardi Gras themed party to life. It would fit beautifully in New Orleans with the gorgeous windows, wood floors, wood work. The french glass doors are lovely. Everything was set up according to specification, the place was clean and well organized, rules are simple and easy to follow, the upgraded bathrooms are exceptional, everyone felt comfortable, the stage and sound and lighting are professional. Maryann is the coordinator and she was lovely to work with. She made the process easy and was supportive. I look forward to hosting more parties in this venue in the future. Palo Alto is lucky to have this spot.

Woman's club of Palo Alto is a gem! The club is gorgeous and Silvana, the event coordinator is incredibly helpful and kind. She was quick to reply emails, she was very thorough and was great at listening to what we were hoping to do and providing helpful advice. The space is perfect, my wedding reception turned out perfect, however we had a tiny problem setting the AC but I believe the club is already looking out for it. The venue has a beautiful area, the big windows at the front gives it a charm that made my event even more beautiful, especially at the sunset time. The Venue is large enough to accomodate large groups ( I had 63 guests) we had plenty of space for dancefloor, guest tables, bar etc. The venue location is an residential area but park is available alongside the streets, no problem at all with that. The venue allows you to use their tables and chairs, and my cater said the kitchen was perfect. I would definitely recommend Woman's Club of Palo Alto for any kind of event -- corporate, private, parties, weddings etc.

An absolutely lovely spot for your celebration! I recently rented the Woman's Club of Palo Alto to host a birthday party for around 90 guests. While the building itself is over 100 years old and hasn't lost its original warmth or charms by any means, it also has tons of modern amenities like a great sound system, updated restrooms, and wifi that actually functions for your guests. Here's what I really enjoyed about the experience: *The Club's rental representative, Silvana, was very easy to work with and was also very good about returning e-mails promptly. All the details were worked out WELL ahead of time, so while there were tons of last-minute things about the party itself to think about, worrying about the venue was NOT an issue. Deposit was returned very promptly after the event. No one is there "hovering" during the event itself, but there were ways to contact people if anything went wrong. Nothing went wrong. *This is a one-price rental that is extremely competitive with anything in the Bay Area. The reason I point this out is because many venues will give you an initial price quote, but then after a little investigation you find out there are add-on cleaning fees, per-bag garbage fees, per-chair-set-up-fees, etc., etc. At the Woman's Club, you pay and you get. That's it. Straightforward on everything. *For the size of our event, the venue felt very roomy without feeling cavernous. Good spot for buffet set-up near the kitchen while also not leaving the kitchen visible; great drive-up next to the kitchen for unloading food and supplies. Spaces off to the side or on the porch for your guests to relax a bit if they need to take a breather. *Honestly, I'm not sure what else one might be able to rent anywhere in convenient downtown Palo Alto (or anywhere at all in Palo Alto for that matter!) where you would get this much quality space for this price. *Since this event was intended to be pretty informal, I really wanted a space that was "atmospherically flexible." By this I mean, not a space that just cried out "wedding reception," even though the photos posted here show it's also a great spot for a more formal affair. The Club also worked well for a more casual event; see photos. Highly recommended!

Built more than One Hundred years ago, it is a beautiful venue to rent. I went to a concert there, and the acoustics we're great! Also, they recently put in a wheelchair lift. I recommend this place, for it's charm, elegance and functionality.
