When my Hunter Douglas motorized shades went kaputt, I called Ricky, who quickly came to the rescue. He quickly assessed and fixed the issue, while being professional and customer-focused throughout. Highly recommend.

LITERALLY THE BEST!!! If you need your blinds or shades fixed I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AJ Window Shades and Beyond. I recently had a bit of a disaster when my dog decided to turn my blinds into his personal chew toy. I was worried about finding a reliable and fast-working company to fix them before my family came back from vacation, but I am so glad I came across AJ Window Shades and Beyond! From the moment I called, Ricky was super professional, friendly, and incredibly understanding of my urgent situation.
Ricky stopped by to scope out the situation. He was very knowledgable and was kind enough to talk through different options to fix the broken blinds with me. Their technician was able to find a solution to fix the blinds vs replace them, which saved me a lot of money. Not only did they fix the blinds, but they also provided tips on how to install temporary blinds while the original blinds were being fixed! The quality of their work was outstanding—my blinds look as good as new, and you would never know they were damaged in the first place.
What really stood out was their exceptional customer service. They treated my problem as if it was their own and made the entire process stress-free. It's rare to find a company that combines expertise with such a high level of care and attention to detail.
I can't recommend AJ Window Shades and Beyond highly enough. They truly went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the results, and I’ll definitely be using them again in the future!

I'm a Realtor and had an emergency situation where my prep team had damaged blinds in a high-end home days before we were scheduled to go to market. I asked my contractor (who had nothing to do with the damage) if he could help arrange a quick repair. The contractor called Ricky, who had nothing to do with the home or prep project, and asked if he could assess the damage as a favor. Ricky went to the house immediately, repaired the damage while on site, and then refused payment for his time and expertise. I have not yet met Ricky, but am sure I will. It's getting harder to find business people who value their reputation and relationships over short-term financial gain. Ricky, I'm looking forward to doing business with you, and am grateful to Aaron for connecting us!

This was previously known as Windows and Beyond. We live in Burlingame and have been a customer for about 6-7 years with them. The new owner Ricky and his team have just been amazing. They are super responsive and the turnaround time was pretty quick (considering the other stores take months to order and install). It only took Ricky a couple of weeks to fix my broken shades. Very impressed by the quality of their service!!

I called AJ blind not expecting that they will save my life.
I needed a repaired on a different brand that they don’t work with and I asked”Ricky” if he could try to fix if and his way to say was, “let me take a look and let you know”…. Super positive guy, few minutes later called me and said that he fixed it.
I was in happy shock.
I told him how much I owe him, he literally told me nothing, he says that he loves his job and loves to make people happy.
I can’t thank him enough, he will get all my jobs as I am a contractor.

Wow, what a positive experience. We had a warranty issue with our Hunter Douglas skylight blinds that we purchased about 7 or 8 years ago through the previous owner of AJ Windows Shades and Beyond. I spent weeks and hours of my time trying to get this resolved including directly through HD. I had great levels pf frustration until I got Ricky's number, who is the current owner of the business. He was right on the case. He resolved this smoothly, worked with HD and came to the house to take some photos to help with the case (and brought me and my wife breakfast at the same time). He even arranged for the install. We also had another warranty issue with the blind in our bedroom and this too got taken care of very quickly, all through Ricky's coordination. I must say, I haven't experienced this type of customer service in decades. Without doubt I would recommend Ricky and AJ Windows Shades and Beyond. They deserve 6 stars if this were possible. Ricky, thank you for all your work and effort and great communication. If I ever need to purchase some blinds or run across someone who needs to purchase blinds, I will be recommending AJ's with no hesitation.

Very smooth experience measuring and installing. The honeycomb shades are already keeping the house cooler in the summer and I'm sure they're going to help in the winter overnight. Thanks to Ricardo and John for excellent service!

Our honeycomb shades are absolutely amazing! Having a little one these have saved us already during this summer heat wave and kept our house so much cooler. I am going to recommend not only this product but also for those to go and see Ricky and his team to find the right product for their home/needs. Product and customer service was more than 5 stars!

I have had the worst customer service from this company. I had submitted a review before, and it has been taken down. I am pretty sure this one will be taken down as well. I also reached out to the owner Vincent and he blocked my phone number. Please beware of this company. The fact that they are deleting yelp reviews is definitely shady and if the owner does not have the courtesy to hear a customer's voice that is even worse.
