Came by for a fill up the other day and it was a decent experience. Being on the corner of San Antonio & Middlefield, getting in an out of the petrol station was an easy task.Diesel was also offered for lorries.Pricing was slightly discounted when paying via cash. The fuel pumps were in great working order with payment at the pump along with receipt available from the payment island. Paper towels were available near the dust bin for wiping things down and/or checking oil levels.76 is Top Tier gas and they were cheapest petrol station in the area! There's also an ATM on-site along with snacks available for sale!

This is the 76 gas station at San Antonio Rd & Middlefield Rd in Palo Alto, CA. I was in the area the other day, and the gas prices were about average so I stopped to top off. It's a typical "gas up and go" type station. There's no food mart, auto repair shop, or car wash. Just wide islands, air/water, and a cashier booth in the center. I didn't ask about a restroom. Instead of building a food mart, they opted to display snacks, drinks and motor oils right outside the cashier booth. There's even a small ATM in view of the cashier. I guess you can do this in a nice neighborhood. This is a great location at a busy crossroads. Easy to enter, but easy to exit depends on where you're going. I wanted to turn left onto Middlefield, so I had to wait a bit. Nice station, nothing special.

With the price of gas so outrageous --- this is the place to go. The prices are always among the lowest within a 5 mile radius. One of the pumps doesn't work properly (the one that's almost always available), but even if you have to use that one and hold the lever down yourself - it's is worth the savings.

The attendee was very honest and gave us our two dollars back when he could've kept them.

The worse customer service/cashier. Avoid! I was fueling up my gas but somehow the station canceled my credit card. So I tried again with another card but it got canceled automatically by the station again. I went to the cashier, who is a Middle Ages Indian looking man, and prepaid $80 using the previous canceled credit card and everything went smoothly. I went back to the station and started fueling. Out of nowhere, the cashier came out and was yelling at me why I canceled the transactions and I was like no, dude, your machine canceled it automatically. He didn’t listen and keep yelling even there were kids around. I told him to fix his machines and should not talk to his customers like that. He seemed pretty unstable mentally and went back to his station without stopping yelling. I have filed an official complaint to the 76 corporation. I know right now life is tough on everyone but he shouldn’t treat anyone like that. I will not go back to this situation for anything!

Fast and easy. Comes at a premium but when you really can't make it to the other side of the street or bust that U-turn to catch the on-ramp, you might spare that 13 cent difference. You can always save time by getting up earlier and driving less all together...

Turban wearing clerk does not come across as friendly, but maybe that is just the way he is.
