The Asian lady who works in the day shift has anger issues. She shouts and scolds for asking questions. She is extremely rude and not at all helpful. People should avoid this post office.

Impatient, disrespectful staff. The stories about the Asian lady who works the day shift are true.

The Asian lady there was extremely impatient and rude. I asked her to help me put on a printed shipping label which ended her in scolding and yelling at me for trying to help her take off the old labels. She scolded me to take off the labels, then yelled at me again for trying to do so, and throwing back, you asked me to help you right? I wish I just asked her for some tape. After having her finish it, I thanked her. But now my package looks like it's still sitting there in the post office and not even in transit even though a day and a half has passed by. Ridiculous now I have to worry that my package is not actually being shipped just bc this lady is a piece of work? And now I'm thinking I have to drive all the way back to fish this package out and actually drop it off at another proper post office who will actually do the job. Wow she is not cut out to be talking to customers.

If anyone wants to deal with the worst customer service, check out this location and the asian lady who works the day shift - she's HORRIBLE. Rude, bossy and clearly has zero interest in working, I questioned being charged $5 for an oversize greeting card that said it needed extra postage. She told me to hold it, which I had been since I put the card in the envelope and carried it to this location. The card had some decor and was not completely flat but I did not understand why I couldn't put stamps on it. She scolded at me once I questioned this and angrily said I ruined her transaction via a tablet. I responded I was paying cash and cared less about what happened on a tablet. Clearly being one of the few visitors in this location, she was ready go sit down and be on her phone. This is one time I wish I could give zero stars. I took the envelopes and will go elsewhere, she sucked. So unlike all the other post offices that are friendly, nice and helpful it's too bad, she could learn from her coworkers.
UPDATE!!!! Went to another post office, sure enough the envelope could take stamps and the cost was $1.19.

Difficult to find since it’s inside building 6 with no visible external signs or anything, but you can enter through the door that says “VA HOSPITAL STATION” it shows POST OFFICE as well.
Open from 10am to 2PM, I came at 11 and they weren’t open.
Save your time and go to another location

Bad location. Bad staffing. There are other post offices within a few miles. Save yourself time and go to those instead.

Extremely impatient lady at the counter. Came here because the review said the other staff was friendly and efficient.

Post office was located in a bizarrely obscure location. It took a kind fellow to point out where exactly the post office was. What’s more bizarre is that Google Maps directed me near the back door of the post office, which made finding the office itself challenging.

Bizarre experience. Very hard to find. Thought I was in the wrong place after wandering the buildings for a while. Finally a very kind man pointed me in the right direction. But then the post office employee almost didn’t serve me because I didn’t have a mask… I don’t carry one with me anymore because almost nowhere (including my doctor’s office) requires it. She did end up giving me postage and I got out of there quickly. It might be best if Google maps didn’t direct civilians to this location.

Came here to mail something across the country. The post office is tucked away in building 6 and you have to enter through a back entrance. Luckily I had asked another employee where to go and gave me a tip that it was in a building that looked like it wasn't open (haha). Once I was in the building, the signs were super helpful. The post office itself was small but it had everything you needed. The woman working there, Thu, was super helpful and even helped me figure out what box to use in order to save the most money. She even helped me with packaging too. Overall great service and I'm glad I am close to here for any mailing needs. Avoids the usual long lines for sure. FYI: there are no self kiosks so you will need to wait. However, it doesn't seem like a very busy office to begin with.

I'm sorry. Where is this alleged post office? I drove around for 30 mins, didn't find it. I've stopped and asked for directions twice. I was just told, it's here somewhere. Just annoyed I wasted my time.

A little hard to find (building 6), but the postman here is absolutely exceptional - amazing at his job, quick, efficient, high-energy, and tells great stories - this is probably the highest level of customer care I've received ANYWHERE which says a lot. Thank you :)
