WORST post office ever. They accepted a DHL package with items worth $500…I came back the same evening after talking to DHL and they said to go back to the location and see if they still have it because they should have never accepted it…the two women that were there were very dismissive and saying and offered no help they just said that the package has been taken and that’s all they could tell me…the package was accepted by unfortunately a disabled person and she might have misunderstood that they don’t accept DHL packages.I went back today ( a week later) after dropping off the package to see if it made it back. A guy name Edgar - was dismissive as well which is super frustrating- I don’t understand why they get so disrespectful when we’re just looking for help or at least know where we could find help to track down this package.Overall just a terrible experience at this office!

Caroline is great! Friendly, efficient. BUT I mailed a Priority Mail Express package ("Money Back Guarantee") that not only didn't arrive on time, it didn't arrive at all. Refund can't be processed until 2 days after mailing, but even after that I was told the "refund period hasn't opened yet." Now I'm out over $58 for the postage, $75 for the contents, and 200 hours of labor for what's inside.PS: Two employees at Bayshore main PO told me I couldn't get a refund until the (LOST!!!!) package has been delivered.

Unbelievable. Got there at 4:45pm and they were already closed. I saw at least three other people came around the same time just to find that they were closed.

Opens at 9am. Can’t process cash transactions, provide stamps or a money order until 9:30 when the second person arrives, but they are currently out of money orders so no idea when manager will be in with more. USPS is getting to be more unreliable! AVOID THIS LOCATION UNLESS DROPPING OFF PREPAID PACKAGES.

Fast service, courteous staff, clean store containing a self service kiosk proving a convenient alternative to the full service counter. I was in and out within two minutes, even though I was third in line.

Still the best way to send a letter with proof of date and guarantee delivery.

Absolutely horrible staff. Came to the post office at 4.45, was filling in address slip and packaging my packets. The lady came over and closed the line at 5 sharp, despite telling her I came in before the close time and am ready to mail my package. When I went to the queue she pretended she doesn’t see me and refused to service me.I’m filing a complain.

Good post office except the mailboxes outside only take letters and none are big enough for packages despite there being 4 of them

I got "Your item arrived at the PALO ALTO, CA 94303 post office at 9:15 am on June 13, 2022 and is ready for pickup." in the USPS tracking. But when I came to the office two days later the staff refused to give me my package, saying they sent it back to the sender. This is absurd. People just wasting their time there.

Why doesn’t anyone answer the phone? Been trying to get assistance for an important issue and it seems like it’s impossible to reach any live person at USPS

Very odd / unprofessional interactions with the manager, twice. The first time I was told to move over bunched up with two other people and not hold my place in line. In line we were spread out by 6 ft, and bunched off to the side we would not be. Months later I came back with a small package in a mailer (a passport), and the manager took it from me before I was at the front of the line and started bending it, asking if it "was inflexible". I said it was papers and a picture. The manager said "3.50 because it's not flexible." When I finally got to a teller, the manager jumped in and told the teller to charge me a different rate. They wanted 5 dollars to send something that should have been 2-3 stamps. I left and went to UPS and sent it for 2. I won't go back, or if I do, I'll leave if it's the same manager. I can't imagine having to work for/with that manager.

I went to USPS because I was told it’s the best option for shipping to Canada. When I arrived, the lady at the counter didn’t even know you could ship to Canada. I could tell she was new since she didn’t know how to measure the box’s dimensions. After fiddling around with the box, she simply told me that she could not ship my box because it was too big. The box was only 44 inches in total (L+W+H), but she measured everything twice and concluded it was 88 inches. It wasn’t too heavy either because it weighed no more than 20 lbs.
