The museum was very nice and quiet. The staff was so kind and helpful. The paintings were absolutely beautiful and we were never bored. The entrance is free and there are also audio guides. The building was very clean. I would absolutely recommend people to visit this place!

An excellent docent tour was arranged in advance for a group. The modern museum features large watercolors by s single artist.

Great place. Beautiful building. I brought my three and five year old. The museum had crafts along the way to give the kids a break. The scavenger hunt was also a great time for them. I would love to come back and do the audio tour without the babies :)
We are open Tuesday - Sunday by appointment, available on our website or by phone. Admission is free of charge. The Foster Museum preserves and celebrates the watercolor wilderness Journeys of artist-explorer Tony Foster to inspire connection to art and the natural world. You'll find engaging activities such as scavenger hunts and Art Table projects in our "oasis in a hectic world." The museum also serves as a venue for art, wilderness, education and community programs and events. Extensive programming is available on our website and YouTube channel as well.
