Very clean and comfortable room. Staff was friendly, there was plenty of parking, and a complimentary grab and go continental breakfast. Cool artwork painted on the walls outside. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.

We stayed at this Inn to escape a plumbing problem in our apartment. Unfortunately and ironically, the bathroom was incredibly unclean with literal feces smeared on the side of the toilet and on the handle (see photo). Immediately spoke to Ashley at the front desk who had me send the photo to the Inn email, but after weeks of waiting, heard nothing back. Usually my tolerance for the un-cleanliness of hotel rooms is pretty high, but this was downright unacceptable exacerbated by the lack of follow up.

Traveled to Palo Alto for appointments at Stanford Hospital. Stayed at this motel because of how close it is to the hospital. We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable ; the area is very quiet and safe , and hospitality is exceptional here . Neal , the general manager, went out of his way to make our stay great . He is so kind and helpful. Ashley , Karen and Bo were very sweet. All the employees here genuinely care about providing quality service and a stress free experience. We will definitely be returning to this motel .

I was a guest at the Stanford Motor Inn for 2 months while work was being done on my home.This motel is clean, safe, quiet and is adjacent to Stanford University and downtown Palo Alto.The managers, Neil, Ashley, Jeff and Laurie went above and beyond to see that I was comfortable.I am going to refer my family and friends to the Stanford Motor Inn in the event that they are looking for lodging in Palo Alto.Rooms: The rooms are clean and well maintained. There is an iron and ironing board, blow dryer, coffee maker, microwave and mimi refrigerator/freezer in the room.Nearby activities: There’s a city park with 2 playgrounds, a basketball court and picnic tables within walking distance- about 1/2 mile from the motel.Safety: The motel is in a safe location.Walkability: Adjacent to several restaurants. Also there are bus stops very close by in the event that you need public transportation.Food & drinks: There are several places to eat within walking distance.!Noteworthy details: Centrally located. There is a swimming pool.

I was a guest at the Stanford Motor Inn for 2 months while work was being done on my home.The motel is well maintained. The rooms are clean and have many amenities. It is adjacent to Stanford University and there are restaurants within walking distance. They offer a light breakfast every morning and coffee, tea and juice is available from 7am-10pm. Additionally, there is complimentary bottled water.There is a city park with picnic tables, a basketball court and 2 playgrounds about 1/2 mile and an easy walk from the motel.The managers Neil, Ashley, Laurie and Jeff went out of their way to see that I was comfortable.I would recommend the Stanford Motor Inn to anyone who needs a safe, clean, quiet place to stay.

Cute older motel with lots of charm. Desk clerks very friendly and check in so easy. We were there for medical reasons at Stanford. Nice room with kitchenette and microwave. Will stay again on next appointment.Rooms: Comfy beds

Rooms were very clean and a good value. My family had to stay here during a 3 day widespread power outage. We found the front desk service to be helpful and empathetic during a stressful time. This inn is very well located to many different restaurants, businesses, and Stanford. They have a light breakfast in the lobby, and our room had a kitchenette with a stove and fridge. I will be recommending this inn to visiting friends and family.

Customer service is absolute garbage. I called to make a reservation and the guy who answered was totally rude and I'm pretty sure he was eating something as he was talking to me. He seemed annoyed that I called to make reservation. Needless to say I hung up and got a room somewhere
