I know that See's Candies are popular, especially in some holidays, so maybe it is the reason why the employees seemed not to happy, but it was early morning so they had just opened the door.

Service is awful. Last week I went to get a box of chocolate, and the younger girl who served me, can’t think of her name, dark hair and looks very young, was so rude and awful service and had such an attitude! I was appalled when i left the store. but i gave her the benefit of the doubt and assumed she was having a rough day, no idea what she was going through. I went back today to get a box of lollipops and a sample with my mother and surprise! she was serving me again. she was so rude and didn’t even acknowledge me when i went up to the counter i asked if i could have a sample and she just says ok which in a condensing tone and then i got it and thanked her and she didn’t say one word. super unfriendly and i have heard same things about her from other locals that go to see’s often. will be going to the hillsdale location from now on. hope this gets fixed because this is the first time i have ever encountered a rude see’s employee there always so welcoming and sweet and polite.

11-03-2023 was not one of their better days. Complete 180 of the service we are normally offered. Surprisingly the store manager was helping us named Ximena. We walked in and were not greeted. We selected $96.00 worth of delicious treats and headed towards the counter. We had been browsing for five minutes and no one offered any of us shoppers any samples to try. There were about six other persons shopping. Ximena saw us walking towards the counter and asked if we wanted something from the counter. We replied no and wanted to pay for our items. Ximena said if you do not want anything from here go to the other register. My wife and I looked at each other and said, "WOW" Then how about offering us a sample. We were directed to the other register. While that register was busy Ximena Now offered to help us at the register at the counter. While she rang us up we brought up the fact no one has offered us a sample. Ximena still just rang us up then gave us out total. Finally, some young lady reached over the counter and offered us a delicious candy treat. If I owned this See's Candies, I would rethink having this manager represent my store.

Had such a pleasant experience today shopping at the Stanford See's store. I wanted to get a Halloween themed birthday gift for my mom's 94th, Halloween, birthday. The staff at the store was super helpful and accomodating. They cheerfully repacked one of their pre-packaged gifts with mom's favorite flavors. Feeling grateful for a CA classic that still takes pride in customer service.

I wrote a not so favorable review for the Stanford location regarding my experience but I was pleasantly surprised that I was contacted by upper management and she apologized for my experience and made it right! I love See's candies and understand that this young girl may have been new ? But I am sure she is being coached and developed to meet See's customer service

The ladies at see's candies are AMAZING!! Super friendly and extremely helpfulI needed teachers gifts they had everything I needed. They had great gift sets made up and they also put some more together for me. I ended up purchasing for teachers also ended up getting some for coworkers and family I love this place And I forgot to mention you get free samples !!!
