The customer service at this pharmacy is getting worse. The pharmacist and the technician change every week or every month and they fo not care for the patients. They are rude and unflexible.

Rude and not helpful. This is out of town for me and i had forgotten a critical medicine, the manager/pharmacist showed no interest in trying to help me solve my problem. What could be more welcome, as a medical professional, then someone in need? A great opportunity to make someone's day. Nope. I couldn't believe how rude and indifferent she was.

One good employee (patrick) the rest of you are trash quit going on power tripsPeople go through many hoops just to get a prescription now you won’t fill due to understaffed incompetence - especially those with medications that are required everyday. Have some respect. I’ll be switching pharmacies steer clear of this clown show

Do not come here.I've been here a few times to get COVID/flu shots. It's my local Safeway (I like the grocery store itself) so I continue to think it will be easy & convenient. I'm wrong every time.The folks behind the counter are disinterested and engage in extended conversations behind the counter without even acknowledging the growing line at the counter. They take forever to process anything, even if you have an appointment. Additionally, they didn't take my insurance, even though I put it on my appointment form.These types of interactions happen every time I come here.As an example today, I came in at 10:00, when I had my appointment for my COVID booster and flu shot. There was no one else there that they were helping. After being ignored by the 3 folks working behind the counter for ~5 minutes, the lady working the counter came to talk to me. By now a short line had gathered behind me. After saying she couldn't find my appointment (she did eventually find it), she told me I couldn't get my flu shot there, unless I wanted to pay $70 out of pocket b/c they didn't accept my insurance (again, I noted my insurance when I made the appointment. Why wasn't I told then that it wouldn't be accepted?). This means I either pay $70 or have to make a second trip somewhere else that does accept my insurance. The entire purpose of using this pharmacy was so this process would be convenient.I opted to get just the COVID booster since I was already there. She tells me to wait outside the nurse's room and they'll call me in. After waiting for 20 minutes and seeing them help 2-3 people that had arrived after me I go back to the counter to ask what's going on. At this point, she tells me, I was supposed to go into the nurse's room and they would help me once I was in there.I was so fed up with the entire process at this point in time, that I left without getting either shot. In all, I wasted over an hour of my life, and got absolutely nothing out of it.

Safeway employee steals my ID 7/25/22 @ 2pm.Came in today to load my Go2Bank card. I give my ID to the desk clerk and a different clerk asks for my credit card ; They realize they cant load this type of card, they say, and i fail to remember to grab my ID back.I am still in my car in the Safeway parking smoking a cigarette. I see the girl that I gave my ID to walk out and go straight to her car; she notices me and looks shocked for a second before disappearing; i know it was here because i went straight to my hotel afterwards and couldnt check in.just more of the same typical behaviors of mexican-Americans causing problems for unsuspecting white people who are new to the state.

In a word, Incompetent. They simply don't know what they are doing. They keep putting OTC behind the counter. I have to wait just to pick up a little bit of non restricted items. Should be on the open shelves. I keep telling them but they don't seem to get it.

This midtown Safeway Pharmacist refused to honor a GoodRx code I got on the Goodrx website. I gave them my card and the price was higher than advertised on the GoodRx website. When I showed them the current code for the price advertised on the Goodrx website they flat out refused to try that code. I left and called Goodrx customer support. . Goodrx called the pharmacist to explain how the pricing works and the pharmacist refused to fill the prescription at the lower Goodrx price. I normally go to CVS where they bend over backwards to help you. No idea why the pharmacist doesn't care about losing business. I will never go to this Safeway pharmacy again.

I gave it a 1 star because there is no way to give a 0 star. This is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with any pharmacy store. We were scheduled to get a covid vaccine booster and simply because we put online to have the shot on the left arm and in the store we asked to have the shot on the right arm because the left arm is hurting, the staff rejected to give us the shot. She asked us to wait for her to deal with all existing and upcoming customers (including phone calls) to come back to us (simply because we were asking to get the shot on a different arm), and costed us 60 minutes for waiting. The rudeness and incompetence will ensure that we would never step into this store again.

Their website said they were open on Labor Day. I drove over to pick up a prescription and it was closed, with no signs saying they were closed on Labor Day. I called, and only then did a get a message saying they were closed today.

If there was such a thing as zero absolutely zero stars for this location never mind the customers being rude because of the pandemic but now the employees feel the need to step in and be just as rude wtf. I used to work in retail and for some reason this location Safeway is by far the worst when it comes to employees being pleasant. this review is for the seafood meat guy. if you don't like tour job find another one! Sheesh.

Shoresh and Betty are both great Pharmcist! The pharmacy itself has turned itself around from a couple of years ago ,were it was in deep trouble but looking at it now you couldn't tell. The pharmacy team is knowledgeable,helpful and very professional. I like the fact that they know many of their customers by name, which means they take the time to know you and care about your health. This is one of many reasons I go to this pharmacy!

I think that given the data and reviews out there regarding this location the the person in charge of pharmacy operations should be let go. It is clear that this starts with management. I have put on the charm to be polite and friendly and still the staff is cold as ice. They really should not work in this field, Safeway should be ashamed looking at the clear data that customers in the pharmacy are being treated coldly and without care. Many family and friends are healthcare providers warm,friendly and caring. Shame on whoever is in charge.
