Long time ago, I was limo driving some rich VCs(venture capitalists) on the Peninsula, usually late and in a hurry, lousy tippers.Heard many interesting conversations like this, "How do I prevent someone from buying open ranch land near me and building? And how do I get the public to pay for this land and keep it open?" There are a lot of Nimbys in the Bay Area and this is the effect if not the intent of all POST contributions.

POST does fantastic work and I have been a supporter for many many years. The staff is incredibly nice and everyone seems very dedicated to the job of acquiring and maintaining open spaces for future generations.

I love working for POST, the Mission is great and it's one of the most caring and effective work environments I have ever known.
