I have so far sent them my clock and voltmeter from my 1984 BMW R100RS for repairs and they did an excellent job. The rebuilt gauges look as fresh and operate as well as they did when the bike was new 39 years ago. Perhaps a bit more costly than other options but if you want your original gauges fixed and to operate well for another few decades, this is your best option.

I contacted Palo Alto Speedometer about the odometer in my 1998 Porsche 993 speedometer no longer working. After talking with two other companies, I decided to send my instrument to Palo Alto Speedometer. That they are an authorized VDO repair center was a plus. Turn around time was very fast, less than a week. Their final price was consistent with their estimate. The gauge now works perfectly. They not only replaced the broken plastic gear, but they also refurbished the whole unit. I am very pleased with their service and would use them again. Highly recommended!

My 27 years old "weekend toy" is returning 60K very soon. Since I have only have ownership for over a year, I also wonder why the digits don't line up nicely on the odometer like my current daily driver. I came across Palo Alto Speedometer on an Ad and decided to pick up a phone to ask if any sort of repair is needed on my toy to preserve its value. The lady who picked up the call was very knowledgeable to explain the reason of my observation. She offered to look at some pictures of my odometer to determine the repair work. Shortly sending over the pictures, I received a very detailed explanation and confirmation that no repair is needed. It is always nice to find reputable and honest people in business who want to educate you instead of just getting your business. My experience gave me confidence to go back to Palo Alto Speedometer for my future needs.

The odometer on my BMW motorcycle began to over-register. A simple ride around town would show up as 1,000 miles. I was referred to PA Speedometer and they brought it back to perfect. The quality of the repair is first class and the unit is better than new. Harmut and the office staff are fantastic to deal with. Highly recommended.

I had an issue where my odometer reading got corrupted while connected to diagnostic software. PA Speedo was able to repair my instrument cluster to actual miles. 10/10 would recommend. Thank you Hartmut and PA Speedo team.
