Saw the closing performance of Misery today. For 2 actors to be onstage the entire time for 2 hours is amazing. They were great. Also the stage sets were extremely creative and worked perfectly for the play. Bravo for live theater.

Their current production is MISERY. Came here and saw it twice already. It's a very good production. Only 2 main cast members, total of 3. Excellent acting skills! No intermission. I should have updated my review sooner--today may be the closing --a rainy day, run over and get a ticket. Lots of seats to fill, so if it's too late to get it online, just run over!!! Fun fun fun

Local theater in Palo Alto. Visited many years ago to watch Chinglish and more recently watched Matilda. The performances and the production were very enjoyable. Bravo.

It's time for Palo Alto players to offer a 3 show subscription. Recently they have begun mixing in productions more targeted towards a younger audience. I understand that that is a fight for survival and I appreciate their challenges. However last night we left at intermission because we could not understand ninety percent of the rapid fire dialogue. I'm sure we were not the only ones who left early, because, oddly, they warned us upon entry that the first half was 90 minutes.

Attending the play as a foreigner for the first time was an exhilarating experience. The production captivated me from start to finish, leaving an indelible impression that I won't soon forget. The seamless integration of vibrant visuals, awe-inspiring performances, and a compelling storyline transported the audience into a world of sheer enchantment. The play's impeccable direction and flawless execution showcased the immense talent and dedication of the entire cast and crew. The actors' emotive portrayals effortlessly conveyed the depth of their characters, evoking a range of emotions within the audience. The set design was nothing short of breathtaking, immersing us in an intricately crafted environment that added to the play's authenticity. The carefully choreographed sequences and the flawless synchronization of music and lighting heightened the dramatic impact of each scene. The play's ability to transcend language barriers and resonate with an international audience was truly commendable. In conclusion, as a foreigner, I was enthralled by this captivating play. Its artistic brilliance and universal appeal make it an absolute must-see for theater enthusiasts and novices alike.

Really disappointed. We arrived 2 minutes after the start time and apparently they started exactly when they were scheduled to. Never in my life has a show done this before. On top of that, they wouldn't let us in, apparently because there was an important cue they didnt want us to interfere with. Because of that, they made us and the rather large group of people who also arrived minutes late wait outside and miss 10 more minutes of the show. We definitely had plenty of time to go inside without interfering with their very important cue. The show was not cheap, and given that we paid so much, I definitely expected better service than that. Once we got in, I couldn't hear about 1/3 of the dialogue due to poor sound and/or poor diction. I don't expect to go back.

Their production of Twelfth Night was adequate, though hard to enjoy on any level with the obnoxious older woman in the back a few aisles behind me. She loudly voiced criticisms and heckled the actors with impunity, while her husband suffered silently next to her, as he's likely done for decades, perhaps entertaining fantasies from Agatha Christie novels. I left early, with the people who work there probably wondering what my problem was, and certainly never dreaming of offering a refund. Maybe she does this all the time, as some kind of interactive audience provincial ritual.

Had an awesome time watching School of Rock opening night! So inspirational to see lots of really young kids do extremely well on stage at a very young age. The entire audience were clapping and joining the singing. At the end of the play it felt like you're part of the play and watching a concert! Standing ovation in the end! We will definitely continue the support!
