A couple of very rude front desk jerks, dave and carmen, overcrowding and shortened hours, means bad service or no service!

Jessica is a great cycle instructor!! Highly recommend taking her classes at the JCC. Might be worth getting a membership just to take her fitness classes.

$40 for a single swim session for one adult and $20 for a child. Y’all are trippin. I see what you’re doing though, by making these obnoxious prices you’re weeding the common folk out. #bebetter

I was given a tour by John yesterday and the gym was absolutely stunning. I was impressed and it made me want to join as a member straight away. There is a steam and sauna room + swimming pool. Looking forward to starting classes today.

This community center is the best one in Mountain View. We are extremely happy to have JCC next to us and being able to enjoy what JCC offers.
We were pleased to meet Matt, membership representative, who helped us with joint membership bundle. Please ask for Matt to work with when you are there.
Amount of things that they have onsite are unbeatable and definitely worth the membership price.
My favorite perk is two types of saunas. (Two types). It’s very clean.
Gym has many freshly upgraded equipment. Really love it.
The community here is a treasure. Many very interesting, well educated and intelligent people.
Gym also has pretty good and experienced coaches you can work with.
Strongly recommend it.

Outstanding place! Just started going to this gym recently, and have been absolutely delighted by the following:- Respectful signup: I connected with Matt over email and he responded to my questions quickly and kindly, with full transparency over pricing, benefits, etc. He even provided me with a no-obligation trial week and -- unlike at other gyms -- never nagged or pressured me.- Month-to-month billing: No year-long commitments!- Clean, comfortable, safe environment. Never once had an issue getting access to equipment, getting into a class (no RSVP's needed except for cycling classes), hitting the shower, or really anything at all. This is the only gym I've seen in my life that's *blissfully not-crowded* even during peak hours! Oh, and convenient, safe covered (garage) parking, too. With badged access and visible security guards on campus, I always felt protected here.- Incredibly convenient. Don't need to bring towels, mats, shampoo, conditioner, moisturizer, hairspray, etc; everything is right there for you. Even the lockers have built-in touchpad-locks!- Amazingly-welcoming community! Not only did class instructors warmly welcome me when I first jumped into their classes, but so did fellow group-exercise classmates, even when I was clearly joining a class full of regulars. No one is judging anyone here; it's clear that respect is the default.- Huge variety of equipment. Pretty much anything you could want cardio or strength-wise, it's there. Even high-end bikes by Peloton and Keiser, the best-of-breed rowers (Concept 2), etc. And again, *never* a wait (!).- Also great class variety. Two kinds of yoga, Pilates, Zumba, other dance classes, even pool-based classes. And every instructor is clearly passionate and engaged. Oh, and class music volume that'll get your energy up but won't shatter your ears -- THANK YOU!----In summary, this gym is a rarity; it's a welcoming oasis where you feel like you belong and you ENJOY going (and sweating!).

the parking lot attendants illegally flash really bright flashlights into the eyes of the driver, trying to blind the driver and causing them to not be able to drive, then laugh at the drivers after they disabled them so they can cause traffic accidents

Oshman Family JCC is great for events. If your living room is small and your budget isn't lavish, and your guests are allergic to your cats and you don't feel like cleaning the house and you need a space to hold an event, the rental space at Oshman Family JCC may be just what you are looking for. I am part of a group that needed a space for a party, and we were happy with this place from the beginning to end. It was a huge success, and much of the credit goes to the people at Oshman Family JCC. The staff is helpful, courteous and they went the extra mile to make it easy for us.Our party was a group effort, and everyone in our group who participated in the preparation and the setting up commented on what a great place it was for our event. This is a place where the community comes together like no other venue in the area for parties, receptions, showers, or whatever you can imagine.Check it out!

I did the free trial here. I'm mainly concerned with weightlifting so this is from that perspective. The locker room is up to date and very big with towels and showers so alls well there. The fitness room upstairs has a decent quantity of weights for a family oriented gym center. There is one fully fledged power rack and one unadjustable squat rack as well as a bunch of extra 45lb barbells. So not amazing but not bad in terms of quantity. There are dumbbells and machines for most of what you'd need but with some compromises, for example they have 3 fixed bench racks at varying inclined rather than just having 3 racks and seats. Most glaring omission here is fixed weight barbells but they make up for it with the large amount of extra bars and weight plates. Best part about this place is lack of busy-ness -- I didn't find myself waiting too long usually. Most of the equipment is new though the racks and weight plates were a bit primitive. If I were making suggestions I'd say remove one or two of the dozens of treadmills and add another power rack or two and it would be perfect. Other issue is the hours -- they close at 8pm which isn't terrible compared to other bay area gym locations but I seems early to me coming from city gyms. Overall nice gym. Considering all the other facilities available here such as basketball court pool etc it's pretty great. Hardcore weight lifters look elsewhere.

Friendly people, terrific gym, instructors, classes, and two saltwater swimming pools(one indoor; one outdoor). Activities for all age groups. Events on and off campus. This place is kept spotless. Although supported by Jewish groups and private donors, all are welcome regardless of race, creed, or color. Free covered parking. They also have a cafe, car wash, and a charging station. I highly recommend.

Although most of the instructors are qualified and professional, however after attending couple of yoga classes by an instructor named Rachel, I noticed that she has difficulty of making some basic movements correctly, such as "warrior two", which could due to her age and physical fitness. Some class members are seniors with certain difficulty of following her movements, but she rarely help them or provide needed correction, this could due to her lack of responsibility and energy. I hope the club could find a more qualified instructor for the well being of the members.

I have been a member for almost 9 years! Since reinstating my membership, which was generously placed on hold during Covid, fees have increased three times! It's insane to charge more when they are simply providing less! Shortened hours, less classes and less equipment! That's righ, whenever a piece breaks they quietly remove it without ever replacing it! They do not even have a full circuit set of at this point! I get it's a Pandemic and modifications had to be made (shortened hours) but charging long term members more and more for less services is insane! Please save your money and just go for a hike!
