I bought two Bernhardt sofas from NM online. I assumed that since both Bernhardt and NM were good "brands," the service and products would be great. However, the sofas were subpar--far worse than our previous Bernhardt sofas--cushions that can't be flipped, lack of firmness or support. I doubt they'll last more than a year or two (& they cost a lot of $). Though the sofas arrived in good condition, NM never asked for any feedback about our experience. I definitely wouldn't recommend buying furniture online through them.

Great place for designer items and denim. I love the options. The store is always warm and seems like they don't like to turn the ac on. The POS IS VERY SLOW AND I had to ask for someone to assist me after shopping around for 30 minutes. Could be better.

This is specifically for Van Cleefs & Arpels located inside Palo Alto Neimans. I had gift card and stopped by the week before Christmas. The kind security/doorman asked if I had reservation as no one was in boutique. He took my number as I would be in store for 2-3 hours. After lunch, I stopped by again. The kind security guard summoned over a non client advisor as the one and only CA was busy or absent. I asked specifically for perlee ring, rose gold, and larger size. The assistant said there was one in stock! This is rare as inventory is limited and special sizing is too. Again, the security took my cell again. I hung around Stanford Mall for another hour or so... No reach out. Meanwhile, I saw two other ladies approach for assistance to be turned away. This is really bad. I really wished someone from SF boutique or backbup staffing could have been there to assist. I had really high hopes for this boutique. Now I have to drive over an hour w/o traffic to SF, which forfeits any NM perks. Management, you need to fix this.

Today was not a positive experience at NEIMAN MARCUS (Palo Alto). My mother in law took me to the Cafe for my birthday and it was a very pleasant experience its when we decided to wander around the store after and found ourselves at the hourglass counter hoping to get a color match for foundation and when I looked and made eye contact with the girl at the counter she looked me straight in the face and turned and walked away. So I went to Sephora and they were more than happy to color match and help us. Get it together NEIMAN MARCUS you're not the only store that sells skincare and cosmetics.

Service is terrible at the women's show department. No one is available to help you . i called a few times the store operator states to leave a message and still no return call Now I know why I shop in San Francisco- its worth the drive for great service

I had a very unpleasant experience with the supervisor of the perfume department and 2 employees, they were very arrogant and did not try to help when I wanted to have information about a perfume that I bought there a few months ago and the perfumer lost its scent.she was not nice to be able to see my product, they only made bad comments to me like I didn't have the perfume in a safe place that's why it lost the essence and made faces.It is so unpleasant that as a customer I have to go through these uncomfortable moments, my only mistake was buying a $400+ Valor perfume without knowing that the employees do not know how to deal with customers in a good way.

I wanted to give a huge shout out to Martov. It was such a terrible shopping experience through Neiman Marcus. My order was delivered wrong 3 times in a row. It Took me more than a month to pick up my order. Without Martov, I might still be sitting at home speaking with customer service. I appreciate Martov and the team behind him. He literally took all the responsibility for those Online services team and their carelessness. Martov’s help was very significant and has made a positive impact in my experience shopping with Neiman Marcus. Martov deserves a better position than what he has now. With that power and ability, you’ll be able to give more assistance and positive shopping experience to customers effectively and efficiently.

Ask for Tyler in the ladies shoe department. Found the most comfortable and cool boots on the planet. Overall, this particular Neiman Marcus is one of the best. All the employees are willing to help you find the item you're looking for.

Recently at the store and the lady in men’s wear said she would not help me if I am returning merchandise from online that I would have to wait for someone else to help me. Her name was tatinsa or something Ike that. It’s very disappointing and discouraging.

It's not like most expensive department stores... u ant return what u buy online at their store; in store. The return by mail is slow as hell.10 business to gett money back but it took 2 days to withdrawl from my account when I made the purchase.Will continue to shop at Nordstroms instead !!!

I bought a pair of shoes last week that I wore and caused my feet to bleed. I called the store this AM to ask them about their return policy for worn shoes if they were very uncomfortable. The lady on the phone was super rude and said she could not allow me to talk to the shoe associate because he is trying to help customers in the shoe area. It is a simple question about returns and the associate should be able to handle both. I challenged her on this because I need to know today and she hung up on me. Now I have to go in person to ask a simple question.

I placed an order on July 9th with standard shipping. I received an order update email that the order would now be delivered on July 19th and a couple of days later I receive another order update that it would be delivered on July 25th. I do understand the delay the first time but when it happened again I don't really appreciate it! When I contacted the customer service they don't seem to understand the problem. Cancelling my order after looking at other reviews.

On July 5 2023 I ordered a Veronica Beard dress for $705 from Neiman Marcus. They mailed me the wrong dress by a designer called LaLigne. I returned the dress thinking that they packaged it incorrectly. They re-mailed the same dress, told me they do not sell the dress they mailed to me and I was out $705. I had been a frequent buyer but never again. Whatever you do, do not buy online. Go into the store. They will rip you off.

One of the friendliest Neiman Marcuses I've ever set foot in across coasts, I truly enjoyed our shopping experience at the Celine boutique in the Stanford Shopping Center, so this review is specifically for the CELINE BRANCH.Service was so great, and the girls managing the store the Sunday we went in were so amicable, we actually all talked for a while and even exchanged social media accounts. They treated us to macarons, Celine bonbons, and water as we did our shopping. My friend bought one of her dream Celine bags that day thanks to the wonderful SAs that day as well as our unforgettable shopping experience.

Last week we went to their gift department to get a house warming gift. The sales person Jim was friendly, helpful and professional. He went above and beyond to help us select the perfect gift.
