The battery replacement was fine. However the coolant container cap was left wide open. That was close to the battery, and during the installation it has been somehow opened. This was disappointing, and I am glad I checked and found it before leaving the shop.

This is a family business that I have had service my vehicles since the 1980s. Trust, integrity, and quality service is exactly what I have received over these years. Currently, my vehicle has 180,000 miles on it and continues to run perfectly, solely because of The consistently excellent service I continue to receive. Something I have noticed over these years is a very low turnover of mechanics. That says to me that the employees see value in working with this family business.

My Prius needed tire pressure monitors replaced. Scott Meder was clear about cost and when they can do this job. The cost was reasonable and the job was done as promised. Would go here again.

Over all, my experience with Meissner is positive. Meissner, mechanics installed new timing belt and spark plugs and tuneup. One small glitch, phone messaging.

My car is fixed, but not by these guys.
I made an appointment at this place because this business is a recommended auto repair by FIXD. I already had the Diagnostic code of P0303 and P0302.
We left the car at Meissner. 2 hours later, we got a call from Scott. They couldn't come up with a diagnostic problem. He would have to pull everything out to really see what the problem really was. It was estimated to cost $2500 to $4000 to fix. He topped it off with oil because the oil level was 3/4 low. It cost $209 for no solution. Thank you. I will not recommend this place to anyone. FIXD, I recommend you check before recommending this business as an approved mechanic for repairs.
The next day, I called the mobile repair guy. All the codes had been erased from my car. He manually removed the spark plugs, "very bad,"he said. Took out the air filter, "very dirty, very bad". He changed those with brand new ones. Topped off the power steering fluid. Car runs smooth ? ? $120 plus $90 parts. Do the math, where did I waste money?

Kurt and Scott had the ultimate patience and commitment to quality. During the torrential rains in early 2023, my 335i was swallowed by a lane-wide pothole. My suspension and steering had no chance.
My once stellar insurance company, stalled, low balled, and flat out ignored requests from both Meissner and me. Shady suggestions like AutoZone parts are direct replacements for BMW M parts and such. It took 4 rounds of escalations and 10 months to get the car back whole.
Meissner had my back the whole time. I doubt most shops would have had the patience to wait it out. I highly recommend them.
