I was desperate to have my wool carpets professionally cleaned. I called Medallion Rug Gallery and spoke with Sami. He assured me they could assist me. They were able to schedule a time with me to pick up my rugs in Marin and were amazing at moving all of my furniture to do so. Additionally, they returned the clean rugs in a timely manner and again, carefully moved all of the furniture back in place.I cannot say enough about how professional and competent Sami is to work with. He was very fair, communicative and always professional. He was happy to make sure everything went smoothly. His staff was eager to assist as well.If you are looking for to work with a professional in the rug business who takes the time to make sure your needs are met, then Sami at Medallion Rug Gallery is the person to contact.When I need to purchase rugs in the future, I will be contacting Sami for assistance.

I rarely write reviews however, on this occasion I did want to take time to write about the excellent service that I have always received from all the staff at Medallion Rug Gallery. I first worked with Moe when I purchased the rugs for my home to last week when I had them cleaned as we were moving. Sam Gerges was a delight to work with - he was really helpful and his follow-up was exceptional. Thank you Sam for making it all so seamless. The service last the store is always excellent. Thank you to all.

We received excellent help over several years from Medallion Rug Gallery. We have purchased rugs and had them cleaned. In both cases the service was excellent. Excellent covid protocols. They have brought rugs to our home which is the only way to purchase. No pressure just excellent service.

I needed an appraisal of some heirloom Persian carpets. Sami picked up the rugs and had them cleaned beautifully and the store manager, Mo Saeidi, provided the appraisals. I found Mo to be extremely knowledgeable in giving me his honest opinion on the rugs. I think he was born into a long line of rug merchants. They wrapped the rugs very carefully and professionally. The crew was also very helpful with transporting the rugs. I would highly recommend working with this gallery for an all around positive, friendly and professional experience, for a reasonable price. I wholeheartedly trust Mo's opinion about anything relating to fine rugs!

I am absolutely BLOWN away by the service I have received here. Hamid was my main contact and from my first phone call he was so helpful and kind. I was inquiring about their rug selection and services and when the conversation was over I knew this was where I was going to take my business. I have not purchased a rug yet but I had three area rugs cleaned by them. They came and picked them up and they just now delivered them back. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL!!! I could not be happier. Hamid and his crew went above and beyond with their service and then their quality of work was also as good. If price is important to you I will say they are reasonably priced but I have had my rugs cleaned elsewhere for slightly less and the results were horrible compared to what I got from Medallion Rug Gallery. I will never use anyone else again.

Huge selection of beautiful rugs. We bought an amazing rug for a hallway - a size we were having trouble finding.Moe was wonderful.-and easy to work with.We will be going directly to Medallion for our next Persian carpet!

If I could give negative stars I would, I have three Persian Rugs that were hero loomed from my grandmother, to these guys to wash, my rugs came back destroyed.....one dug was stained yellow, the other rugs tassels were ripped off as if a dog went at it, and the third one although the damage was not severe, the tassels on the rug came back stiff and hard. Super rude employees, when I came back to complain about my rugs, they said “we never have problem with white people, only Persians, the ya re sneaky” (said in Farsi). DO NOT GO HERE

I had a great experience with Moe at Medallion Rugs. I was looking for a vintage 8x10 rug, which is hard to find - most antique rugs are much larger. I visited probably a dozen shops and looked at too many rugs to count and was feeling discouraged. Everything I liked was too big or too expensive. I live in Oakland, but I found Medallion online. I inquired about the prices of a couple of rugs and Moe called me the same day. He offered to bring a selection of rugs to my home that same week, which was wonderful. I sent him a photo of my living room and a few examples of rugs I liked. Moe came over a few days later with two guys and half a dozen rugs to try. I loved everything he brought. He brought two rugs that were exactly what I was looking for - muted and subtle in beige and blue. But he took a risk and also brought a couple of high drama options and I immediately fell in love with one of the more dramatic options - an antique Kerman with lots of pinks and purples. I bought it on the spot and I'm thrilled. I did a lot of research and based on what I've seen, I thought his price was more than fair. And I had a budget that he helped me meet, which I really appreciated. I will definitely be reaching out to Moe again the next time I need a rug.
