The team at Mathews-Carlsen Body Works is top notch. They understood the urgency around getting the repairs done fast and provided a detailed time estimate which ended up being spot on! The workmanship is superb and JR even helped with a minor liftgate height issue over the phone a few days after we picked up the vehicle. Overall, 5 stars and I’d return there for any repair needs in the future!

I just backed my car into a steel pole, went straight to Mathews-Carlsen to see what they could do.
They gave me quote, but then also touched it up, gave me the bottle of touch-up paint, and sent me on my way free of charge. 10 stars

Mathews-Carlsen is amazing! I worked with Evan, and he was so patient, helpful, attentive. Working with insurance was a huge pain but he just kept at it with a calm demeanor, step-by-step. I highly recommend them!

Amazing service both via phone and on site! Went to get an estimate for fixing the star logo on my Polestar that had been scratched. They took me in right away, and was able to change the star very fast. Very impressed with the experience, highly recommend!

I had a pretty small scrape on my car, and stopped by for an estimate. They took it back to look at my car and buffed out the scrape for free. Very kind and generous! The entire experience took maybe 15mins. Highly recommend!

My 1 year old Honda Accord had a hit and run which left a 1 inch diameter ding in my door, but it was very very deep. Mathews-Carlsen repaired the damage and painted the door. Their work is outstanding: I was amazed at their flawless craftmanship. The paint matched perfectly and nobody, including myself, can tell my car was ever damaged. Communication throughout the process was good and proactive, they interacted with my insurance company, they completed in the work in the time frame they promised. J.R. (owner), Eli (technician), and Joe (front desk) were a pleasure to work with. If you care about getting body work/paint done perfectly, then you need to go here. There were a couple hiccups with some cleanliness issues to the interior of the car, but they stepped up and took care of it all. They are nice folks and do amazing work. I could not be happier with the results.

Recently, my new 2024 Volvo XC60 was struck by a truck while parked on the street, which was quite upsetting as it was brand new. The local Volvo dealership recommended Mathews-Carlsen Body Shop for the repairs. My service advisor there, Joe, was incredibly professional and transparent. This shop is notable for their punctuality and appointment system. Throughout the repair process, Joe's service was outstanding. I picked up my car last night, and it was restored to its original condition, just like when I first bought it. I highly recommend this body shop if you ever find yourself in a similar situation.

Absolutely the place I'll go back to with all my body work needs.
They are professional in every aspect of their work, starting with communication, scheduling, accommodations of my needs, and of course the body work itself.
Their facility is what you expect a world class auto body shop to be. It's clean, well-designed, and well-executed. I used to work for a respectable auto body shop, and while looking for a place to fix my car, I came across several small businesses that were subpar. Mathews-Carlsen, however, impressed me even before I started scheduling the work. Car painting, when done right, requires quite a large and fully featured facility, and these guys have exactly that. Their paint on my car came out perfect, and I'm grateful for the quality of work Mathews-Carlsen did.
On top of that, JR and his team stay on top of communications and scheduling tasks, which made my life that much easier.
Overall, the quality of their work was top notch, and I'll be coming back for all of my auto body repair needs.

I was referred here by a local Porsche mechanic as I needed a bumper replacement on my car after being rear ended. JR and his team were on top of it from the start; they ordered the bumper right away, and had my car back in days looking better than new.

After an accident we all want our car to look "brand new again". In my case, it was a brand new car and they exceeded my expectations- it looks like nothing ever happened.....they do excellent work! Joe and his team at Mathews- Carlsen are very professional, timely and provide ongoing communication during the repair process. They worked well with my insurance company and coordinated the delivery and return of my local rental car. It should be noted that they have experience working on electric cars ( there is a power shut down and ramp up procedure before doing bodywork) and they work on all brands of cars. I highly recommend them as a superior facility that puts the customer first and makes your car look new again.....or keep it looking new!
