Cool and semi-functional but the planning of the building is quite suboptimal. Parking is very challenging.

4th floor gym is not a bad place to see the sunrise! Open to current medical students, PA students, and other grad students in various science departments. They also offer free personal training sessions! Gym lockers (men and women's separate) have communal showers and plenty of locker space. The first floor has the two main lecture halls for the medical students as well as "med cafe"- see that entry on yelp for the full review of their menu items. The price is pretty much what you'd expect for a stanford on-campus cafe- pricey but useful to have when you're running between classes! There's also a stanford store on the first floor for swag. The second floor and third floor has additional space for classrooms and admin space. The second floor also has Berg hall where medicine grand rounds occurs as well as conferences and the medical student milestone events (part of white coat ceremony and the match day!)

The nicest and one of the newest buildings on the med school campus. I had most of my classes here, so some good and bad memories :D It's a 4 story building with a big conference room on the second floor, a small cafe on the first, mostly classrooms and offices on the third, and a grad-student only access lounge/gym/lobby/nap room/large balcony on the fourth floor. I spent most of my time on the 4th floor to study or hang out with friends. It's nice having a whole floor of our own for a little gym, fridge, and common space to have access to 24/7. I don't think any of the other schools at Stanford have this kind of resource. I especially love the balcony area as there are couches and tables to study, eat, and drink with an amazing view of the campus and mountains. It's a spectacular place to watch the sunset. Definitely miss being able to come up here after graduating!

I attended a seminar here and it was nice. It really has a nice interior and good cafe on the first floor. The auditoriums are nice to host public gatherings.
