I have been going to Josie for my hair cut, perm, and care for the past 3 years. She is very knowledgeable on hair texture and properties, and knows how to keep your hair looking great while keeping it healthy. She also has a keen eye of what type of hair cut and styling fits your face and personality. She takes her time during perm and cut, and takes extra steps to protect hair during perming. Her rate is in par with commercial hair salons but the quality of service and end result is much superior. I hope the Covid can pass soon so we can visit Josie soon.

My first time getting my hair cut by Josie, and I couldn't be happier! She listened to what I wanted and made suggestions so that the haircut would compliment me best. She's very welcoming and personable. Her 5 star reviews are well deserved. I'll be going back!

Josie was fantastic! I had fairly long hair and wanted to cut it pretty short, and I came in with a few pictures and (with a few minor tweaks, per Josie's suggestion) came out with the exact haircut I wanted. Great haircut at a great price. Definitely reccomend!

I dropped into Josie's hair salon on Friday after reading the great reviews. I had medium blonde roots growing in from highlights, and I expressed to her that I'm trying to grow my natural color back out, but just want it to blend in a little by making it SLIGHTLY lighter. She completely misunderstood and dyed my hair a VERY bright color of blonde, and it has this ugly orange tone to it. It's awful, and I've talked to a few other salons about fixing it, and they agree it looks terrible. While the dye was in, I repeatedly asked her, "is this getting too light?" "should this still be on?" and she said "yes yes yes". After she washed it out, I clearly hated it, and she said "oh, we misunderstood". No, she didn't listen very well at both the beginning and during the treatment. She tried doing a toner to darken it, so now the ends are a biege color, but the top half of my hair is still that hideous orange. The haircut was good, that's the only positive thing I can say. She told me "your hair pulls orange", which I've only ever heard after bad dye jobs. I used to model, and had my hair dyed all sorts of colors frequently. I know a good vs a bad dye job. Good salons had no problem not obtaining that awful orange color. I can't believe I paid close to 200 dollars for this absolutely awful dye job. I'm going to have to dye my hair brown for a while to cover it until my hair grows back in.

Josie was fantastic. She asked me questions, gave me tips, and made sure she did exactly what I wanted along the way. She was professional and sweet. It was more than obvious that she loved her work and was doing it for more than the money. The price was incredible! If you want a stylist who really cares about her clients, go to Josie!

I recently found out about Josie, right near my home, and I am now a permanent customer. She really knows how to cut hair to flatter you, she's extremely personable and fun, and she listens and gives good advice, followed by a great haircut.

Love it! I needed a haircut last minute and my usual stylist was busy. I left a message for Josie and she called me back at 9pm on Saturday. I explained my situation to her that I was flying out on Sunday afternoon. She graciously accommodated me at 10am on a Sunday!! And the haircut she have me was fabulous. I presented at a customer summit and received so many complements. And Josie is so inspirational with her personal story and work ethic. Definitively recommend and plan on my next appt. thx Joise.

This might be only the 2nd or 3rd Yelp review I've ever done, but this one is worth it! I've been going to Josie for over 20 years. I have short hair and need to keep it clean and conservative. Short hair shows the mistakes much more than long hair, so having a good quality cut is really important to me. Josie consistently provides an excellent cut, is thorough, and runs a professional quality salon at a very fair price. On the rare occasion when I've had to go elsewhere (3 times in 20 years), I have been really unhappy with the quality. She is relatively flexible on schedule, and such a nice person. I am so thankful for having connected with Josie. And I like the fact that when I pay for my haircut, 100% of it goes to Josie, and she doesn't have to split it with a salon owner. My son and daughter have also started going to Josie, and they are very happy with their cuts. Salon quality + Good price + Nice person = Satisfied Customer!!

Josie has been cutting and highlighting my hair for nearly two years. When I first met with her, we spent some time talking about what I like, how much time I want to spend on my hair (little!), and looking through examples. The result was that I left with a haircut and highlights that matched what I envisioned and works with my lifestyle. Although I am not someone who likes to spend a lot of time in a salon, I really enjoy my appointments with Josie and especially how my hair looks when we are done.
