If it was possible to give 0. "The store is not open for browsing" but still didn't let us know how to make an appointment to "buy" clothes. It wasn't the first impression I was expecting.

While I like the some of the styles in this shop, the owner is extremely rude. She made fun of me at one point, and was rude to another customer who also came in. It's too bad, because she has some interesting finds, but I won't be able to shop there again.

This store is a hidden gem!I walked past this store several times before my visit. Each time my boyfriend said, "you have to go in here one day! Stop- just take a look in the window. Look at her interesting pieces!"This week, I had the time to finally stop in and peruse. "G", of G. V., was very personable. We talked while I found hidden treasure after hidden treasure. I was looking for some fresh new pieces of clothing to update my wardrobe to go to Chicago and meet my boyfriend's family. I found many things. From classic to artsy- edge- y. All the while, G and I were having a great conversation.Since COVID, I have experienced a waning bar in customer service. That won't happen here! G is amazing. Her store has something for everyone. There are many nooks and crannies with so many interesting pieces!If you are craving to find a store where you can have a great shopping experience and get some interesting pieces that you do not see everywhere else- this is the place to shop!!It's a great thing to support our local businesses. Give it a try!!! I will be back...

I have serious doubts about the morality of the owner. I had the absolute worst experience today with the owner and now after reading reviews, everything makes sense. Never have I EVER walked into an establishment whereby the owner made me feel like if I wasn't going into the store to hand her money, then I'm a total waste of time and space such that I had to leave the store. "This store is not for browsing. It's for buying only." Please FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, if you know you hate being around people or serving others, and you do it to deliberately have the opportunity to be nasty to people - then you are not worthy to stay open when so many good-hearted businesses are shutting down around you. That's downright evil. Why exist to spread negative feelings and emotions? Why open your doors so that you can make the world a worse place? Shut down and find another calling - G.V. Your sad store with zero stylistic taste or value has no place in a community such as Palo Alto.

Hello, I have read all of these negative and positive reviews..A friend and I visited this store last month. It was our first time visiting this unique boutique. We met GV and took a liking to her immediately. Yes, she made a few comments, but we were not offended by any of them.We were there for at least an hour or more visiting with her and she shared with us how her business has been down since Covid-19 a year ago.We understood how she was feeling and both my friend and I spent over $500.00 in merchandise. We will be back to visit with GV and I'm sure we will make a few more purchases.

This store doesn't pay their vendors nor taking responsibility for their purchases from designers and brands. Their poor business practices not only hurts small brands, but the entire fashion industry.

Walk out in a new favorite! The proprietor sees and knows what will look great on my figure. GV Boutique is a small Palo Alto shop with quality clothes and price ranges for every budget--or no budget. I'm not normally a clothes shopper but I always come back to GV.

If possible, I'd give this lady a -10 score. Do not shop here. You are required to try something on- you can not browse in her store. We immediately left!! Couldn't have gotten outa there fast enough.Not sure how she's in business since every review has the same feedback.
