Functional Lifestyles is a semi-private fitness studio that offers a unique approach to health and wellness. With classes capped at 10 clients and two coaches per session, the studio emphasizes movement-based strength and conditioning. This focus allows each individual to work closely with a coach on various aspects of their health, including nutrition, mobility, and stress management. Many clients appreciate the personalized attention and the supportive community environment. Reviewers highlight the positive energy and spirit of the team, noting that the atmosphere is both fun and challenging. Classes are designed to keep participants engaged with music, laughter, and friendly competition. Many have found that the small group setting, with two trainers, provides a balance of accountability and safety, enabling them to tackle new exercises confidently. While the programming is praised for being well-structured and suitable for all fitness levels, some feedback indicates that changes in coaching staff have affected the overall vibe at times. Nonetheless, Functional Lifestyles remains a cherished space for many, offering a sense of belonging and growth. The studio's commitment to a non-diet, balanced approach to fitness makes it a standout choice for those looking to enhance their overall well-being in a community-focused environment.
I get excited to lift at FL every week!! I feel strong and supported, I’m making new friends all the time, and I’ve got awesome coaches to push me and help me learn perfect form (shoutout coach Toni). I would and do recommend this place to everyone!

A year into our Functional Lifestyles membership. The coaches have been great (and patient) and the gym has done well building a community.

I've been working out at FL for over three years. The coaches are knowledgeable, caring & inspiring. Big focus on correct movements, safely recovering from injury & not getting hurt in the first place.
And I love the sense of community that I've been able to build with my rest of the 8am crew.
