The best 7/1 mortgage rates around. Andrew Holtz is professional and always responsive. I highly recommend First Republic. I referred a friend to the bank and she got a mortgage for her house in San Francisco and had the same experience as me with her loan officer in SF.

I refinanced my student loans with them because they have the lowest interest rates around. It's been a great experience working with First Republic. Everyone I have worked with is incredibly kind and accommodating. (They even sent a courier to my office to drop off my new debit card when it was ready) It truly seems like they care about customer service, which is something that has been lacking in the banking industry.

Worst service I have ever encountered in a bank. Staff make mistakes left and right, and seem asleep at the wheel and uninterested in getting things done. I waited over 2 weeks before they even ORDERED checks, and then they used the wrong address, even though they had the correct one, they just...forgot. Sloppy work.
