I bought a dress worth $450 from Reno, NV location. Their computer systems were down so they couldn’t take CC. I decided to pay by cash. She gave me a hand written receipt. For some reason I didn’t like the dress at home and wanted to return it at their Stanford mall location. They took the dress back and original receipt from me and gave me a copy (yellow receipt) and told me I would get a corporate check in the mail. I NEVER RECEIVED ANY CHECK EVER!! I followed up numerous numbers of times - no luck!! Then finally their manager spoke with me over the ph and told me they can’t pay me coz it’s hand written receipt and they don’t have a proof of it. SHAME!!

This was fun. Blondie and I stopped by to just look around. I'm not in a position to shop here, except for something special perhaps. On the first floor is the cologne/perfume area, and I looked for a Dolce & Gabbana area, which they don't have. When I asked someone, I got attention from three people who were eager for me to try some exclusive brand that NM carries. We started talking about cologne scents like others discuss wine, which was new for me. Do I like citrus, or something a bit astringent? I didn't even know how to answer, but they had plenty of options for me to try. They handed me a glass of champagne, and even offered a second, which I declined. I took a look at the third floor restaurant and bar, because I was more likely to eat there than shop much elsewhere in the store. The menu looked casual impressive. Again, I really enjoy looking around a NM, regardless of whether I get anything.

I ordered a shirt from a different location and I followed up a couple weeks later since I never received it. The person I ordered from in person confirmed the order and never told me that the order was cancelled two days after I ordered it. He texted me to follow up on my in person purchase and how the experience was and I told him it was good until i asked about the status of my order. he left me on read, literally, and never responded. i called customer service and got tossed around to 5 different people and it seemed like all these people just started today. i finally had to go in person to get a refund. Customer service 1/10.

This review is for my awesome Neiman Marcus SA, Jingjing. She's super helpful, friendly, and promptly responds to my requests. She's also so upbeat both via test messaging and in person (I love that about her!), which match my upbeat-self. She helped me with my Christian Louboutin items, whether they are in her assigned areas (1st floor for women's and 2nd floor for men's) or another department (i.e. shoe department - she'd smoothly transitions the service to another SA). Her customer service performance is superb! I totally appreciate her assistance every time! Thanks so much for taking care of my shopping needs, Jingjing!

I am not a big fan of shopping, but I am happy I found sales representative Lala who made my life much easier. She offers great options and sends all the items directly to my home. She is a true professional who makes me come back. Recommended!

What's that old saying? It's hard to find good help? Is that still true even in this economy? High end shopping should equal great customer service. I can't get any response from anyone at Neimans in regard to what I'm searching for. Am I to blame because I misplaced a business card from my last visit here back in August? If I hadn't misplaced it I could email or text the associate that I had interacted with during my last visit. The Chanel handbag boutique NEVER answers their phones, and I think the "store operator" is outsourced, because they said they couldn't provide me with the SA's business phone number either. However when I needed my wallet repaired in July, I left a message on a Sunday, perhaps about one hour until closing. Then an associate (not on their Sales side though) who is in charge of repairs and inventory called me right back in the morning. But now because it has to do with actual merchandise they're selling, NO RESPONSE. I've been interested in a wallet on a chain, and came back from the Chanel boutique at Valley Fair on Monday afternoon. They didn't have any of the colors I was interested in. Wanted to try Neimans since it's a bit closer to my place but still at least a 30 minute drive one way without any traffic. So I called both on Monday and Tuesday. It's Thursday evening, and still no phone call, mind you, their requests for callbacks are logged in some sort of ticketing system, so it's not a note on a Post IT that can get lost. Is it really that hard to take 5 minutes to give a customer a call back? If they actually have what I want in stock, it's an easy sale.

Specific to our purchase at Cline which is inside Neiman Marcus, we give this our 5+ star rating. The salesperson CeCe was just perfect. From the time we called to check if product was in stock all the way through the transaction. Super friendly and just what you want when spending too dollar on an item. The store was well lite up nice display and very clean and simple to navigate. HighlyRecommend.

One of the friendliest Neiman Marcuses I've ever set foot in across coasts, I truly enjoyed our shopping experience at the Celine boutique in the Stanford Shopping Center, so this review is specifically for the CELINE BRANCH.Service was so great, and the girls managing the store the Sunday we went in were so amicable, we actually all talked for a while and even exchanged social media accounts. They treated us to macarons, Celine bonbons, and water as we did our shopping. My friend bought one of her dream Celine bags that day thanks to the wonderful SAs that day as well as our unforgettable shopping experience.

Marilyn in the perfume department was such an incredible help. A true veteran in her field and profession. She greeting me out of the several associates that were standing around. I'm a store manager at the Livermore outlets so I understand a high traffic environment. Neiman Marcus is well staffed and I didn't see feel a costumer obsessed environment. Mrs Marilyn spotted me from a distance to acknowledge me and help me. She also went an extra mile to help me with a online order exchange that she found a solution for me which was greatly appreciated. Thank you Mrs Marilyn for giving me a positive experience when I didn't feel noticed.

I'm not the one to 1 star something but man.. I've never been here until this year. I ordered a pair of sunglasses as a Christmas gift thinking nothing of it, I work nearby but live in San Jose. When I got home I wanted to triple check (thinking associates already checked) and come to find out not only did they give me the wrong styled glasses but they were clearly worn. The lens had multiple deep scratches and the frames were scraped. It seemed like someone dropped these glasses and returned them. I don't think associates are checking to make sure it's good to give a customer. Totally ruined the experience. Make sure to check your order in front of an associate if you order pickup.

Went to Palo Alto and did some shopping and found out the store has a wine bar! Love it!Wonderful to sip champagne while shopping. Great idea! Makes the whole shopping experience to a higher ground!Go check out the wine bar!

I went in one day with my husband and son and wasn't able to get anyone to assist me. Bummer!However, I called the store and asked for a sales associate to contact me directly. Tyler sent me a text within an hour. He helped me purchase a pair of Chanel loafers; since they weren't in stock at his store he ordered them for me and they were shipped to my house.Tyler is responsive and he has been sending pictures of other items (much to my husband's dismay).Thanks, Tyler!
