Wow!!! The Emily Renzel Wetlands Marsh Pond and Trail are an absolutely beautiful part of the Baylands and is a must visit place! If I could only use one word to describe it, it would be: breathtaking. The views are indescribable. I must refer you to the pictures - they capture the gorgeous views better than I could describe in words. Renzel Pond is home to so much wild plant life and animal life and so much color. Renzel Pond and Trail is a place at which you will enjoy spending quality time. Friendly blue dragonflies the size of my fist hovered around me and led the way in front of me everywhere I went. Excited butterflies flutter amongst the waves of unique marsh plants and trees I've not seen anywhere else. Beautiful water birds such as, but not limited to, herons, great egrets and so many different species of ducks play in and sunbathe around the water. I recommend going all around the pond on the nice gravel paths - every angle offers a novel, lovely view, and with every step I was constantly exclaiming in my head, beautiful! In the distant background you can also see and enjoy the mountain scapes. A fresh breeze buffets your hair as you walk along the pond and trail. The Emily Renzel Wetlands Marsh Pond and Trail are so special and beautiful and opened my eyes to unparalleled natural beauty. Three simple words: you MUST visit!!!

Pretty nice but a lot of freeway noise. Parking is limited.

This is a nice place to stroll around and watch the waterfowl. It’s an artificially created set of ponds that used reclaimed water from a nearby facility. The trail loops around two ponds and is about a mile long. The surface is gravel and is quite wide. It’s kid friendly for those who are well behaved. There’s no fishing. Wading. Swimming, or boating. Bring a camera to catch some great wildlife photos.
