This place is severely short staffed. Expect long delays and absolute inconvenience. I felt horrible for the stylists who were attending to clients and managing client intake since they did not have a receptionist.Service: Blowouts

I have visited Drybar Palo Alto tens of times. Generally it’s a good experience. I go there before important events so it’s not the kind of appointment that I can just reschedule to another day. Today, I received an email saying “Thank you for canceling your appointment. We’ll see you next time.” I called because the email was an error, and the person who answered indicated that they cancelled on me due to staffing. No phone call or apology. So if you are booking blowouts for important events, do not consider your appointment at drybar palo alto reliable.Service: Hairstyling

I had an appointment here but they cancelled because of their poor scheduling abilities. I was super looking forward to getting my hair done for our anniversary dinner….. we never get to go on date nights with a new baby so I was just really excited. Very disappointed…… this would have been my very 1st time here…… good 1st impression ??

Horrible customer service. I made an appointment a few weeks in advance and they cancelled the day prior. After calling 5 times I was able to get someone to answer the phone and they stated the manager quit and took other stylists and no one was available to take my appointment. I will never use this salon again.Service: Blowdry

This place is horrible. The first time when I booked the appointment a month ago they called me close to the appointment day and changing the time which resulted my other schedule conflict. The second time when I booked, which was yesterday, they called me the day of, cancelling my appointment without any compensation. They said they only had one stylist and she called in sick. So as a business you have no backup plan if the person calls in sick? Also offers nothing to compensate the customer? They do charge a cancellation fee to customer who cancels last minute but apparently the other way around it is completely ok. I asked to speak with the manager and the reception person said the manager would call me back and they did not call me back. Absolutely disgusted at this salon for unacceptable customer service. How can you cancel appointments all the time without any compensation? Very disappointed and will not return or recommend anyone to go there.Service: Blowdry

I go do this Drybar regularly and always have a good experience. Recently, it's been even better - the new store staff is on top of things, the appointments run on time, the stylists are great, and my hair always looks fantastic. The store manager Trish is friendly, welcoming, and a very good stylist herself! Recently they have added more appointment times so I can usually get a convenient appointment. Keep doing what you're doing - I am a very happy customer!

I'm a bit sad to see people losing their enthusiasm at the PA store. Manager Patricia is now managing Union Square, Palo Alto AND Santana Row!? Not sure who made that decision, but I think it's unfortunate after so many good things were taking place at PA. I'll stay on, I'm still a fan, but I'm not sure my hair can take the damage of being a newbie guinea pig (as happy as I am to support the wonderful new employees being added on!). Everyone is really nice, but I miss the party atmosphere you find in the NYC locations (e.g. still thumping music, and it feels like a party where everyone is dressed to go out and have fun). I guess we are a suburb, apples to vinegar!

I love this DRYBAR location! If I lived closer, I'd be here much more frequently! I'm not sure if Amanda is still at this location, but she is absolutely AMAZING!

TRISH is fantastic!!! The salon is beautiful, clean and everyone was so nice!! I picked the southern comfort blow out and LOVED IT! The products smell so good and my hair looked great for my event. Easy online appointments too. This is only my second time going to a drybar but I'm hooked! Looking forward to going back. It was so easy, relaxing and I loved the results.

I had a great experience at the Drybar Palo Alto today! There is a new store manager and she and her team are fantastic. I was greeted with a cheerful receptionist and my stylist was ready for me and offered me a beverage during my session (wine or a mimosa)! I should add to my review that I have been a frequent dryer/ barfly member since the Drybar opened here in the Bay Area and I know the team is working hard to deliver a great experience to all their old and new customers ... if you have a chance, book an appointment - I am sure it will be wonderful.

10/10 had a great experience at the Palo Alto DryBar location, and the manager Trish was phenomenal. I am from out of town but I visit the Bay Area often, and I have been let down by the Burlingame DryBar location twice. This last time, the Burlingame DryBar location canceled my appointment at 11pm the night before--no phone call, no explanation, nothing. When I called the Burlingame DryBar first thing in the morning, there was no answer. I called the Palo Alto location at 8:05am to see if they can take me last minute, but they were fully booked. However, the person who answered the phone said she would call her manager and call me right back. She did! She called me 5 minutes later and said her manager could take me in 45 minutes if I could get there. I made it, and not only did Trish do an amazing job with my hair, she was sweet, attentive, and I found out that she came in early specifically to accommodate me. I also overheard her instructing her staff to start planning for other calls that might be coming in from the Burlingame closure for that day (which was still unexplained). Truly impressive and such a standup gal for handling the situation the way she did. Thank you Trish! I'll definitely come back to the Palo Alto location for a blowout next time I'm in town!

This tired mama had the first morning to myself in months. If you can imagine I was very much looking forward to treating myself to having my hair washed and blow dried. Upon my on-time arrival, I was barely greeted or acknowledged by one of the desk attendants. The other girl seemed nice overall and told me to have a seat after checking me in. 10 minutes go by. 15 minutes go by. And finally after 20 minutes I go back up to the desk to ask what the delay was? She said it was because my stylist had been "behind working on many girls that morning with thick hair". Well, it would've been nice to have had a heads up when I first walked in. Needless to say I could not stay and keep my appointment because it would have pushed back my entire day of appointments (that I had scheduled weeks in advance). Super disappointed in the management of this location and overall customer service. I will not be returning.
