want to play russian roulette with prices? This is the place for you. An item may be labeled as $5, but when you go pay it is actually $7.99. It always happens. Today we went to buy a simple item that was marked as 9.79 but rang up as $14.79 - no explanation for the differences and just a 'whoops, wrong item displayed.' No, none of the items within the section were $14.79 either - just plain wrong pricing and unwilling to match it
Just go to safeway down the street - less math

Super negative experience with management and team member tonight :( I frequent this CVS location at Middlefield for my needs. I haven’t felt the need to give a review - until tonight. I came in, got my items, and was going to check out promptly before noticing there was only one team member on the floor and not at the registers. So, I went to the self-help registers to check out. I finished my first transaction and was having difficulty adding in my coupon to my final transaction. No problem. I now saw the team member helping another customer at the regular register so I pressed the little button for help. I approached her and let her know my coupon was inserted into the coupon holder but didn’t scan correctly. She told me she didn’t have the keys to open the coupon box and couldn’t help me but her manager was upstairs. I asked if she could call her manager. His name is Zahir I believe. He was already on his way down and opened up the coupon box, gave me my coupon back and told me the initial team member could check me out at the regular register. I turn around and her register has the sign up that says she’s closed and she walks by us with a basket of items to put back. Her manager Zahir asks her if she can help check me out and she says “in a minute” I then ask Zahir if he can please check me out for my final transaction. He tells me “I need to do something else”. bruh At that point, I’m pretty irritated and leave my final items there and walk out. I work customer service too and am familiar when there’s problems you provide solutions to your customers. Especially as a manager. I would never tell a customer you have something else to do because 1. it’s a part of your many roles as manager 2. It’s just unnecessary. Don’t expect anyone at this location to want to help you if you bother asking for help.

2 star overall rating speaks for itself. I attempted to buy $300 dollars in gift cards only to be told by the manager that they might have been tampered with. I spent 1/2 hour selecting them and then told they are defective. Why are they still on display? Obviously they should be taken off the floor. The manager had no answer and acted like I was in error. I have shopped in Midtown for 50 years. CVS lost a long time customer today. The manager has no idea how to provide customer service and after my encounter it's no surprise the ratings are so low. No apology was ever given for my inconvenience.

Tried to get a prescription transferred here. Called the pharmacy and was left on hold for 15 minutes before I gave up to try a different CVS.

The worst service ever. I called on a prescription for pain meds after having a knee replacement surgery. The order was placed. Then on a Saturday I called because I hadn't gotten notification that it was ready and was told they didn't have the medication and that they had called me to let me know. They didn't call. I just placed a refill order yesterday and same thing. The order was supposed to be ready last night but after calling this morning they say they haven't gotten the request and have to get approval before filing the prescription. If they had filled the prescription fully the first time I wouldn't be out but they only gave me a third of the pills prescribed. Don't use CVS!!!! A better option is Safe way on middlefield.

Staff have been truly great.Their service is 5 stars — they solve problems, greet you, seem to be authentic, good humans.I think they are short-staffed in the pharmacy which is a management issue.I hate the new maze of telephone prompts when you call (again, management issue).App is pretty good but if you have a med on hold there is no way to unhold it except coming in person or calling and going through the phone maze. Also, one of the meds I had delivered never arrived, two weeks later. I called and they will have it ready for me to pick up tomorrow.Again, five stars for the staff there!

All around good experience with the store and pharmacy. I had a couple horrible experiences with Walgreens pharmacy and will never go back. This was night and day- easy, pleasant and fast. They filled my medications in less than an hour and the line was short. I also find that they tend to have meditations that are out of stock at other locations. Even when I call, I’m quickly able to reach the pharmacist. Cashiers for the store were also very helpful and no line there either.

I've been trying to hit up this store for a minute now, but all I'm getting are these annoying recordings and ads for shots. Like, bro, I want to talk to a real person. Do you know what I mean? Anyway, I had to transfer a prescription from another pharmacy about a week before my meds ran out, and these dudes said, "We'll call you when it's ready." But then they forgot to transfer it, and it took them another four days to fill it. And here's the kicker, fam: I've got bipolar disorder and was off my meds for almost two weeks because of their incompetence. And to top it off, the lady who gave me my order was rude and disorganized. Like, come on, man. But wait, there's more. Do you know how CVS always asks you to donate to some random charity when you check out? Those donations don't even go to the charity they claim to be supporting. Like, what kind of scam is that.

Have tried to contact a person at this store and all I get is recordings and advertisements for shots. Bought 6 Covid test kits a week ago and today I have found that they have already expired.

I have severe asthma and this pharmacy works with my doctor to get me the inhalers I need, when I need them - which seems normal, but I have worked with other pharmacies for years and the amount of hoop jumping required to get what I need is sometimes overwhelming. The pharmacists at this location help me get the best price for an inhaler I need that isn't covered by insurance. They've also gone the extra mile to work with my doctor to get my insurance to cover things. They always get it to me quickly as well, as I am unable to shop in the store. I appreciate the staff here, tremendously.

CVS is being sued for asking customers to donate to the American Diabetes Association when they check out. Those donations are in fact *not* sent to the ADA, but instead reimburse the CVS for a legally binding obligation of $10M that CVS promised earlier
