I was here today to look for a sofa and this store is big. All the furniture is upstairs and all the smaller items are downstairs. While upstairs, we were trying out all the different sofa collections, and in multiple occasions had multiple sales reps come over to see if I had any questions, and to check in to ensures I was doing okay. While speaking to the sales reps, they were very knowledgeable, courteous, and nice. I was able to find a potential sofa with their help. All in all, I had a good experience with the friendly and helpful people here.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE BY TATOOED GUY NAMED JODY who is short-tempered, rude with ZERO customer service skills. Crate & Barrel needs to stand behind ALL the product(s) they sell and take care of their customers with defective product(s) sold by them.

Great selection of napkins, table cloths, candlesticks and even full length mirrors quiet store. Pleased with the sofas and blankets they have kids bedding too upstairs. Prices for the sofas are between 1000 and 3500 not bad.

I'm really not one to leave a bad review for businesses, but I'm so fed up. While the items I have from Crate and Barrel are good quality, the customer service has officially turned me away for life. It was clear that no one at this store really gave a damn whether I actually received my furniture or not. I understand that warehouse/manufacturing schedules don't always perfectly align with deliveries and expected dates. But the fact that no one ever ONCE followed up with me to let me know that my furniture would take TWO MONTHS longer than expected is insane to me, especially because I paid thousands of dollars for these pieces and determined I wanted to buy them based off their availability. The few times I called and asked for a new ETA on the items, I was met with a vague answer. One time, someone even told me a date that had already passed a week prior!!! LOL! Not to mention, they didn't even build the chair I ordered like they said they would. Bro.... $700 desk chair... maybe you could help me out and build it for me. This isn't IKEA.By the way, I ordered something from West Elm, and they even called me a month AFTER it was delivered to ask how my new job was going and if I was liking my desk. THAT'S good customer service. So you should definitely go there instead.

I bought a peeler a few weeks ago, recently the stainless cover plate dropped. I came back to them to get it exchanged and was refused. She said it is not a defect because they never have this happened !!!I eventually got an exchange item. Hope that stainless plate will not drop off again.

Service quality problems.I visited the Palo Alto store and made purchases over 5 times the past 3 weeks. Some staff members are helpful. Some are incompetent, unprofessional, and even condescending. Hence, I am writing this review.Also, if they like you, you will get a free shopping bag (even if the amount spent is less). If not, they will charge for the bag (even if the amount spent is more). Rather random.

They carry lots of nice items, but have Walmart kind of customer service at this store. So many bad experiences that I decided to avoid CB altogether (even though their online service is still good).

Bought an item and months after no follow ups no updates on the delivery date. Called them multiple times and asked the sales rep to call me back she never does . Very frustrating experience.

I would like to leave a better review for this place but they are lacking in basic customer care as well as courteous, cordial , and well pretty much inconsiderate...and acted like it was my fault for returning ...I bought a set of pans in Las Vegas a month ago and was told I could use it for 90 days and return it if it doesn't work out ...I returned to crate and barrel in Palo Alto to return 35 days later ....I placed my receipt and bag on the counter and the first words out of the woman's mouth with short brown hair was "oh that's the other customers items" then I said my bad and then scooted over to the other register that wasn't cluttered and then her and the manager continued to wrap boxes for 3 more minutes while I stood in front of them then the lady with short brown hair interrogated me with questions are "you returning twice "and I said yes twice by moving the receipt over on the counter in front of her so she could have a better view of what I was doing with the receipt, she then said ok ok I hope your day gets better like if she was assuming I was having a bad day or something ....(never assume it makes a ass out of you and me ever heard of that???) then she said what's the reason and I said to much money to expensive need the money back...plain and simple ...then she looked at the two and said they have been used and I said that's right I used one but I did not use the other one ...(there was one spec of hard water stain on the one used ,get over yourself ) then she said we don't take returns on used items or something to the affect of that then I said well in Las Vegas when I bought they said I could use it for 90 days , the tall lady said wanting to assert herself said out of no where "well I'm the manager and they shouldn't had been telling you that " nice try lady I don't give a f$& if your the manager number one number two a "no am sorry they told you that what a big misunderstanding "would had been better number three the customer is always right didn't you learn that at crate and barrel school or something ...if you are the manager you interject kindly not so brashly ....the manager said well I'm going to be contacting them " with a tone that was questioning and like calling my parents for detention or something ...which was quite odd any who spend more time being frazzled over the customer in front of you not continue packing boxes for the customer that probably wasn't even in store ps there was nobody in line and two employees were packing somebody else's boxes for three minutes ignoring me that was the first red sign. Not cool. Second red sign they didn't say "I'll be with you in a minute " totally f$&@8!: rude period

This store has almost everything you need to furnish your home and outdoor living spaces. From furniture to small kitchen appliances, dishes and serving pieces, flatware and glasses, Crate and Barrel has a good selection of quality products.

This is a beautiful store with high end appliances and furniture. I would definitely recommend coming here if you are looking to upgrade or ad to your home. However, customer service was a hit or miss. My wife and I were looking at furniture when we were greeted by a very friendly and nice employee who spent about 20 minuets going over how we can arrange to create a customized wish list that included a store employee who would help us make our decisions. She did not have anyone available to help us at the time so she gathered our information and said we would be contacted soon to make an appointment. Three days later, I received a call from an employee who told us all we needed to do was go on their website and intuitively create one ourselves. I wish this was more efficiently explained. Overall, I would recommend this store although it would have been nice to know this information instead of receiving a phone call days later just for someone to say "you can do it all online" Customers really value that CUSTOM experience.
