About Country Day Little School
Country Day Little School offers a Waldorf inspired, play based program with organic meals, and warm caring teachers. Our outdoor focus embraces joyful work and play in our gardens, a seasonally- based curriculum supporting social-emotional learning, and sensorimotor development. Our young students build self-care skills and learn to play with younger and older classmates alike, in our home-like setting. Our older children learn patience and care of their younger friends while modeling cooperative creative play and skillful purposeful work. One of the wonderful aspects of our school is the Transitional Kindergarten program for our eldest students to engage in pre-academic activities that support them with their transition into kindergarten.
