This hotel was conveniently located close to Stanford Medical Center. There were a few restaurants within walking distance and more that were a close drive. A hot breakfast was provided. The typical scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, potatoes, yogurt, pastries, coffee, and juices. The room was very clean and modern. It appears that they are upgrading the hotel. The bed was super comfortable. The only thing I did not care for was the curtain separating the bedroom from the bathroom. I prefer a door. The staff was pleasant. Check-in and check-out were a piece of cake.

This place is a dump - needs some love. Dirty, outdated, smells of dog odor in room and did I mention this place costs big bucks ? What is good - comfy beds, cold air conditioning and location - location - location.

Staff needs to communicate with each other during shift change. Some staff members do not like each other and request may not get relayed to the next shift. Example: if u requested a late check with the shift before snd doesn't relay the request the next shift. Then that guest is getting accused for not requesting causing stress for the guest and that's not fair or right. Grow up get over your issues and be profesionalNoteworthy details: Make sure you get the name of the person you make request to. They need to honor late check out request. Lady thatcworks front countervin morning is rude and needs to be re trained or fired.

Rooms: There is a lot of noise from children screaming because it is right next to a school. No privacy I couldn't open the curtains because my window was right in front of the school yard and you could see the kids running around.

The lady in the front desk was extremely rude. She pit me in a room that was not cleaned. I was moved to a room. That the TV didn't work. She took almost 45 min to do something and donally.moved me to another room l. This room was dirty but I was too tired to.complain. I won't be going back.

Clean rooms, great location. But hotel tacked on an extra $9.95 surcharge per day in a very shady way. Front desk was evasive about this charge. Claimed that it was because we used Expedia to book the reservation and could not provide a straight answer why.

Terrible experience...Room had ants coming out of the floor in the restroom.Microwave shorted out on the wall creating sparks very unsafe.When I went to the front desk to get help was given terrible attitude even after explaining the situation in the room and being very calm and accommodating. Front desk attendant had terrible attitude was incredibly sarcastic and not helpful at all. Will never stay at a comfort inn again.If I could give 0 stars I would!

Great budget lodging. Bus stop right outside takes you to Stanford campus and downtown Palo Alto. Free parking and lots of it. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker and cups, clean bed and towels. Great for the price.

I don’t like to put negative ratings, but this place is very outdated. The couch is stained, carpet is ripped, room is smelly, the sink doesn’t drain… I frequently travel around the States and around the world, and this was the worst experience ever.

Friendly front desk staff, good AC in room, clean and comfortable overall. Breakfast options in the morning were 10/10 for the price. Waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, coffee, juice. I recommend this hotel if you need a place to crash on a road trip. Never have had a bad choice hotels experience.

The worst desk clerk ever!!!!!! She was with an attitude I don't know why, with everyone, she trow us the room key when mu husband give her a hand I swear I want to leave just because of her but we really need to stay because we have stanford event and was full mostly all hotels we made reservation in advance, entering the room smell horrible and dirty everywhere, they sisnt clean the bathroom it has water everywhere, hair in pillow, horrible !!!!!!At least you should have a nice and educated people working here having such of dirty rooms.Also if you book by hotels.com like me or booking or any other 3rd party and not direct to their web page they will charge you $15 dlls more, its an extra charge for bot booking with them the "super nice"lady at the front desk said

Location was perfect to why we were there.Beds were comfy. TV & AC worked..thank God. Breakfast was edible (tator tots for breakfast was my fav!)Rooms..diff story. Instead of writing all the reasons why I won't stay there again, if you're looking for a simple short stay & don't mind the OMG's about the rooms, this is your place.Walkability: Great places to walk to for dinner. We recommend State of Mind Pizza by the Slice & Sushi Tomo.
