Wrong color paint followed by horrible customer service. I ordered an off-white color which I was able to confirm it was wrong when I purchased a second of the same kind. Brought the cans in and they realized they had given me a base white by mistake instead of the color that I had ordered. OK, definitely not the level of service one should expect from any paint company. Mistakes happen. But this male employee doesn't even apologize for the inconvenience and offers me a "free" can. What do you mean "free"? I'm finally getting the product that I paid for, minus hours and hours of labor that needs to be reversed. When I asked to get at least an apology he yells "Jesus! What do you want?" A female employee apologized instead. This male employee really shouldn't be dealing with customers.

We extensively remodeled our house in the past year, and required a lot of interior and exterior paint. My wife discussed with Hugo on an initial order $1500 and we were told we would get the contractor pricing. We then arrived to pick up our order and found out that Hugo lied to us and charged us a higher amount. We asked him about it and he said no one gets that contractor pricing. We called Gray's immediately and were told we could get that pricing. On another occasion we again came by and Hugo again lied to us about another pricing issue. We do not recommend dealing with Hugo and will not come to California Paint ever again.

I feel impressed with the wonderful work well done, I was told every achievement begins with a decision to try, I was a victim of scam but I got convinced by the right person of which I gave in a try of $1000 investment and I got a profit of $13,200 in seven days. I am absolutely amazed with their customer service! Isabelle went above and beyond in helping me understand colors and textures( I have zero exposure to paints) and tried to match the sherwin Williams colors for me. They have samples you can purchase for $5 as opposed to sherwin Williams making us purchased quarts:( Isabelle was extremely helpful and even called home depot to check if they have the colors i might like! She is an absolute pleasure to work with and I will go back to her for my future needs! A shout out to Alex too for helping me pick the right color for front door:)

This is everything you want your local business to be. Knowledgeable, friendly and helpful staff. They will answer any question about their products, will help you figure out what you need, will even offer advice with colors, they color match... Thank you Palo Alto branch of CPC!

Called to ask a question about paint chips before making the trek to Palo Alto. Guy who answered the phone was rude and condescending. Couldn't be bothered to answer my question. Guy needs a vacation or better medication. F for customer service.

We bought several hundred dollars worth of paint here, and 3 tray liners that didn't end up fitting our tray. We tried to return the perfect condition trays while on a walk, but forgot the receipt. They wouldn't do a return without a receipt. They lost our future business over $3 by showing that they don't really care about customer service.

I called in the store for a price check and some lazy guy said be cant check because it takes too long. I have the name of the product, youre not skilled enough to check for the price? Go work somewhere else you privileged aaa.
