Very engaging class as always. I do not do membership so I buy class packs. It is awesome. No obligation and easy to use. Give them a try!

Great workout! Instructors push you to your limit. You should probably know how to properly lift weights before going so one doesn’t get hurt.

At Barry’s Bootcamp in Palo Alto, darling, the energy is always electric, honey! The instructors are fierce, serving up motivation and knowledge like nobody’s business. The front desk staff? Total dolls, making check-in as easy as a catwalk. ? Now, let’s talk about the glam in those locker rooms! OUAI products? Divine, sweetie! They add that touch of luxury that we queens deserve after a killer workout. ? But, mmm, sometimes those other clients need a lesson in manners, honey. ? Still, with the love and support in that room, we keep on slaying, boo! And those showers? They could use a little extra love, but hey, we’re still shining like stars, baby! ?✨

Great studio, great instructors. If you go after 4, leave yourself enough time to park!

Get yourself ready to do your absolute best!Barry's is a strength training + cardio workout that occurs in 4 different sections (2 sets of strength training on the floor and 2 on the treadmill). I've had the opportunity to do an upper and lower body class and have definitely felt the muscle burn in both. The inside is quite loud which makes it difficult to interpret what the trainer is saying sometimes but thankfully they will usually demonstrate the moves. Although others complain about the red lighting, I actually quite enjoy it since it prevents me from being self conscious in front of others and helps me focus on the workout. After you are all done, you must stop by their showers and enjoy the all of the Oribe products! With this location, you have to order your smoothie in advance before the class. I treated myself to the Muscle up after one class and I wouldn't recommend. For being a "smoothie", it was far too watery with a mild flavor.Strangely enough, the workout feels killer while doing it but you emerge feeling victorious and absolutely incredible. I can't wait to come back!

This review is for my fourth Barry's class and first in Palo Alto. The check in process was pretty smooth. A lot of people seemed like regulars so their check ins were really fast but I was taking a walk in spot so it took a bit longer. The class was also a few dollars more than I have been used to paying in the LA area. The class was full body focused and really kicked my ass but I guess that's what I asked for. The instructor, Janelle, was really good at demonstrating and explaining the exercises. I also thought the music was appropriately loud and a good playlist. There's lots of great options for post workout snacks, I'd definitely go back.

I used to go here all the time and decided on a whim to come back. I was so disappointed. I walked in and it was an absolute zoo. There was no organization to check in. It was more of a social event than a workout class. Let the first class come out and leave, then let everyone else in. During the class: It wasn't as intense as I remember but still a good workout. Great energy and felt really good after. What really irritated me was the 2 gentlemen in front of me on their phones and taking pictures rather then focusing on the workout. It was really uncomfortable as I kept having to dodge out of their photos. I spoke to the instructor about Barry's phone policy, and he said that it was acceptable for people to keep their phones in class just in case for emergencies or if they are in a meeting. The instructor continued to say that next time he would make sure no body is around me. I felt my concern was completely not being fully understood and taken seriously.I don't believe I will be coming back for a while. Hopefully this will change.
