There were a lot of items that were hard to find in Korea, and the staff were really nice!

This review is less about the store and staff (which are fine and helpful, respectively), but rather about the company standing behind their products. I invested in one of the top-end ski jackets (men's Macai) a few years ago, and after a few years of use the inside liner wore through and split due to friction against my ski pants. This was a defect in the material, so I sent the jacket in for warranty service. The company replied that the jacket was out of warranty and offered to repair the jacket for $275. Now, this jacket is only a few years old, and it was an acknowledged defect. That they would not stand behind one of their most expensive jackets says something about their commitment to their customers. Plenty of other top brands offer lifetime warranties or simply stand behind their products and respect their customers enough to fix defects. I really wanted this to end differently because I liked the jacket. But I won't be spending the premium bucks again with Arc'teryx due to the risk of no customer service behind my investment. Just be aware that many competing outdoor gear companies are far better at supporting their products and care about their customers and offer really nice gear.

I love the products at Arc'teryx, but I would highly not recommend coming to this location. If a zero star review is possible for the employees here, I would. The employees are extremely rude every time I visit, so I end up going to other Arc'teryx locations or purchase online. I was trying on a pair of shoes that were on display and an employee came up telling me, in a very rude tone, that I should not touch or try the display shoes and I have to ask an employee to try on shoes from the back. I never had this experience at other Arc'teryx locations. You should put up a sign if you don't want customers to try on your display shoes! Not a big deal, no need to be rude. If you want better service, go visit the Corte Madera location. This place is not it.

A well-managed Arc’teryx store with attentive service. One of the few stores to carry Veilance pieces. There always seem to be attractive and sparse displays but many more sizes in the back.
A pleasant shopping experience. The most comfortable, lightweight and functional outdoor clothing I’ve found.
The Veilance line is appropriate for urban wear, with Japanese styling. Often simple and oversized, occasionally elegant, always without a logo.
The manager helped us recently, and she was simply excellent.

I was helped by Sean and Josh last Friday. Although not the season, they helped me with a blue parka I’d been trying to find. The store was clean, well staffed and both shared their knowledge about the different climbing harnesses and other gear. I’m glad I came in or I would’ve probably picked the wrong size online.

Consider this brand as the pinnacle of luxury in the outdoor space. Their superior construction and craftsmanship surpass any other outdoor brand on the market. They utilize innovative fabrics, trims, and technology that may go unnoticed but contribute to the excellence of their products and justify the price point. While their designs may come with a hefty price tag, the quality matches the investment, and their color selections are consistently beautiful.
The in-store service was friendly, and there's no pressure to buy, just the chance to appreciate their offerings.

The products here are nice but the customer service was very unaccommodating. We received a cap as a holiday present and went to return it with the receipt but the employee would not give any store credit or even allow us to exchange the hat because the tag was not on it. At most other retail establishments, they would treat the customer with respect and find a way to help the situation—especially when the product has not been used and there is a legitimate reason to want to exchange the item/get store credit. This store was very staunch in their no tag no way attitude that was extremely off-putting. I will not be returning here.

Staff was very nice, but somehow they didn't have the latest season products as you could already find on the official website.

We came in a week before Black Friday sales, I asked if they do price matching (most stores do within 14 days) they said no. All you can do is return the item with tags attached. Very poor policy. I am almost 8mo pregnant and asked for a specific size in a jacket, the guys told me whatever is out is available. Nobody offered to help me or take things down. It was hard for me to reach. What's the point of having a retail store? This is why retail is dead. We spent over $1k there but I will shop online next time. BTW I believe the online store does price match. if you buy their gear from REI, they have excellent customer service.

I can give zero star if I can. We bought a jacket yesterday at the Palo Alto store and went back home washed it. And the jacket was broken but when we come back the next day and show them the broken part, the folks at store refused it to be a quality problem but just say we did not dry it. How come a dry can solve such magic to bring broken part together?Well this is a 400 dollar jacket without tax. But the only worthy thing we got is a lesson: never buy these fragile jacket.

Staff here are very helpful, friendly and make suggestions vs just letting you buy the wrong thing. That really helped my wife on the right jacket, thanks.

This place is pricey but you can't beat them for a breathable waterproof jacket.
