This is one of the best and biggest anthro branches. They have amazing flower artists in the Terrain section, and an expansive bhldn wedding section with special dressing rooms for the wedding dresses. There’s nothing you can’t find here. Staff is also super friendly every time

I love anthropologie, sales persons are always nice; but the sale area is messy sometimes it’s really difficult to even check out items, sometimes it’s too crowded or too many items pushed together.

This is a review for the BHLDN wedding dress shop inside the store. This was my first time ever trying on wedding dresses and a wonderful experience. I didn’t really know what to expect, and Alexandra was so helpful, knowledgeable and sweet. She gave great opinions but wasn’t pushy at all. Anthropologie has beautiful gowns at reasonable prices (which is so refreshing if you’ve shopped for wedding dresses at all). Although I didn’t end up purchasing a dress here, it was one of my favorite experiences out of the 6 bridal stores I went to. Alexandra even called me a few weeks later to let me know a gown I was interested in had gone on sale! 10/10 customer service. My mom and I really appreciated it! If you’re trying on wedding dresses, I highly recommend you start your search here.

A big storefront that houses bhldn& terrain ! Everyone is nice , the SA upstairs (French?) is always super helpful and sweet. I minus a star because their elevator is seemingly out of service :(

I had an exceptional experience at the Anthropologie BRIDAL store!??♀️? First, I want to thank Mary S. for her remarkable styling help. The BEST EXPERIENCE in a bridal shop I’ve had so far. She was patient, sweet, and incredibly helpful!! The shop had a diverse array of absolutely gorgeous dresses. I’m very impressed with the quality and designs. I highly recommended working with Mary if you are looking for something fresh and elegant. A definite go-to for brides to be❕❕?

Styling session here was great. Pulled items that matched my style and a few "push my limits" items. It was time well spent-honest opinions, tips on styling and not needong to comb the racks myself.

The employees spent way too long trying to operate their register to charge for wedding gown. When they did figure out, they failed to notify that the item would be on back order for many weeks. Good job!

I was waiting for a cashier to get my items bought online, the other cashier yelled at me 3 times in 5 minutes told me to wait in line on the other side. And I explained 3 times ( I’m waiting because someone is serving and getting my stuff - if that’s not clearly and obviously) till exhausted!! And someone said she’s manager told nonrelated things to explain no way to say sorry for the bad attitude.Don’t know what’s wrong with the store and employees but seems the complexities at the cashier’s is a problem! Bad experience bad attitudes 1 star!!

This review only reflects the Stanford shopping center location, I still love my local Berkeley location. I was shopping at about 5:15 PM on a Sunday evening within 15 minutes of entering the store the sales person starting announcing that the fitting rooms were closed, WTF? At 5:45 when I was ready to try clothes on I, along with another customer, was told no. Luckily that unhappy customer complained--and the sales person very rudely allowed us to do so. She was really passive aggressive about it. When I was younger, I worked in retail and we never rushed costumers out of the store, as long as they made it before closing we had to suck it up, help them until they were done, even if it meant we got off of work late. Brick and mortar retail is dying and shitty workers, like the ones in this store does not help! Next my daughter and friend joined me in the store, and they both felt as if they were being profiled and felt really uncomfortable. The whole vibe of the store was not person of color friendly. A sales girl ( a person of color) was " bag checked by her non-person of color manager--and it was ridiculous, making her open every tiny compartment in her tiny bag, even a tiny credit card holder, i have have never experienced a bag check like that. I felt really uncomfortable for her. Not saying it was, but it looked and felt very racist. The final straw was the door closest to where I parked was locked even though I left the store before 6PM, forcing me out of an inconvenient exit--the person could have easily let me out. At that point I was done. Antrhopologie, your clothes are not cheap and your customers deserve better! I am really on the fence about using my birthday discount this year! and for the poor girl that was harrassed and the end her shift--quit! You can find a better job with better management and kinder people!

I love shopping at Anthropologie, but my experience at the Anthropologie at Stanford Shopping Mall was not pleasant. I went in to make a return and purchase a dress, everything went well until I was ready to do my transactions. The young girl that helped me was not very friendly. She did not say hi, she did not ask me if I was able to find what I was looking for. No acknowledgement what so ever. I explained to her that I wanted to exchange my return for the dress but she didn't say ok or yes or nothing she did not say anything at all. After the exchange I had a balance for which I told her I wanted to use a couple of gift cards that I've had for like a year and really wanted to get rid of. Her facial expression gave me the impression that she wasn't too happy about my payment method. Most stores I go to and ask to pay with a gift card I get some kind of acknowledgment or confirmation that it's totally fine to use a gift card or any other payment acceptable but not her. At the end of my transaction she did not say thank you or have a good day. Horrible customer service she made me feel so uncomfortable and unwanted. She made me wonder if it was my race, my color or my presence that bothered her. I try not to take things like these personal but this one was hard to ignore. I hope my receipt helps management find out who she is so they can give her proper customer service training.

This store is a masterpiece!You’ll find sophisticated pleasure observing dresses, home furniture, pictures and decorations.There are two levels in this store. First one for clothes, flowers, plates, glasses, hats, and some decorations. Second one is for wedding dresses , night gowns, furniture, and rugs.Even if you are not going to buy anything, window shopping will cheer you up for the rest of the day ☺️
