Good salesman, helped me pick a suit I liked. He took my measurements. When I showed up later in the week to pick up the suit, I was greeted my an employee on his first day of work. He told me he couldn't find my suit because the other employee, the tailor, had disappeared. He took me in the basement and we were looking in racks and racks of suits. Didn't find the suit, but we found the other employee nursing a hangover down there. He found it, but needless to say, the alterations were very poorly done.
That was years ago, and today I got an email from this business complaining that regulations made it hard to keep the business open in Madison. Yeah. Sure. Regulations. Riiiiiiight.
EDIT: This happened years ago when I was a timid college kid buying his first suit. I didn't know any better. You're hearing about it now because you sent an email to past customers asking for a review...so here's my review. Maybe you should have asked your past customers if they had a good experience first.
Maybe things have changed with time or a with new location, I don't know. But I say "buyer beware," not because of my experience at your Madison store. It's because your response has no substance other than to call me a liar. You say this can't happen in your business? I'm proof it did.

I bought a pair of Enzo jeans for my son. He loved it so much, he had to get two more! We are very happy with the product and humanized customer service of Moda. I'm getting his wedding Tuxedo and a Valentino silk scarf for myself, only $95 I almost bought one from Neiman Marcus for $300..Happy Happy

Moda Italy has an impressive collection of items on their website and competitive prices too. Their customer service is amazing as well. The gentleman who helped me with my question regarding the size of a jacket I wanted to purchase was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I've ordered quite a few items from Moda Italy so far and I've had a great experience with them every time. Seems like customer satisfaction is definitely their number one goal.

My favorite men's boutique! Just about my boyfriend entire work wardrobe comes off the racks here! The owner, Fred, is informative, stocks some really cool and little known brands and tries to accommodate a decent range of points. A great selection of suit, button-down, and outerwear. You probably won't get it for less anytime soon, and everything I've gotten has been totally worth the price.

The owner and his assistant personally picked out suits for me to try on. They did the legwork and I just tried things on. This is perfect for a guy like me without much interest in fashion. I ended up getting pants, shirt, jacket, 2 ties, 2 pocket squares, and tailoring for ~$300.
I generally hate shopping for clothes because of the price, stress, and sizing. Moda was perfect because the prices were good, the staff were personal and friendly, and the clothing was tailored for me. Plus, it feels good giving money to a small business. Next time I need dress clothes, I'll head back to Moda for sure!

What a great store with a very knowledgeable and helpful staff! I went in with hopes of finding a suit for a wedding I was attending the next day but had almost given up on finding anything that would have a good fit on such a short notice. I was met by Chris inside and I can't say enough of how he made a potentially stressful buying experience fun and easy. Within minutes we found one that fit me well and I liked. The only thing I needed was hemming the bottom of the pants. I was told it would be done in a few hours but to my amazement they called me in only a half hour letting me know they were ready! I wore the suit the next day in time for the wedding received compliments all night of how "sharp" I looked. Faith in good business and helpful people restored!
