My recent visit to Bank of America on Palmdale Blvd left much to be desired. I entered the branch with the simple task of withdrawing funds from a non-Bank of America debit card, something I've routinely done at various locations without issue. However, I was met with unnecessary complications and rigid policies.Despite presenting my ID, the teller refused to process the transaction unless I inserted my Bank of America card first, citing the absence of my middle initial on my non-Bank of America debit card as the reason. This requirement was baffling and inconsistent with my past experiences, as my middle initial isn't present on any of my cards, including my Bank of America ones.Frustratingly, the staff at this location couldn't provide any documentation or policy highlighting this requirement. Disappointed and feeling slighted, I decided to visit my usual branch at 47th St, where the transaction was completed promptly and without any unnecessary hurdles.The stark difference in service and efficiency between the two branches was glaring. The staff at 47th St not only validated my frustration but also confirmed that the Palmdale Blvd location has a reputation for consistently poor service.In banking, consistency is paramount, and Bank of America falls short in this regard. If you're in need of banking services, I strongly recommend avoiding the Palmdale Blvd location and opting for the reliable service at 47th St instead. Bank of America would do well to ensure uniformity and quality of service across all its branches.

Always busy with mediocre customer service - poor communication and slow lines & ALWWYS short on tellers.Merchants are treated as second class citizens; regulars are not given any preference; seniors & disabled are treated well but forced to wait with everyone else…because the logistics are not managed, lines are never managed to ensure speed or fairness.Management might be overwhelmed but it’s no excuse to aggravate customers because there is lack of support from higher ups or the company.will never use this branch again.

If I could give a 0 start, I would. Terrible service. I came today to make a deposit and they were closed for lunch because they were short staffed. They closed for more than an hour, almost two hours. They didn't have a sign outside only the security guard telling everyone to come back at 1pm. Staff are so lazy one time they made me wait for more than 40 minutes just to make a deposit. One customer requested to talk to the manager and she never came out.

Long line...account manager comes out of office and helps man at the end of the line because he was dressed in a suit...grrrrr!!!!

Not enough Tellers. Long lines. Most of staff doesn't know what they are doing. Just needed to make a cash payment. It took them 47 min until I was helped.

Yvette helped me by going outside to the ATM machine with me. I was having trouble with my card. She was very courteous and treated me with respect.

Service was absolutely horrible! One teller for a line of almost 20 people because the other one went to lunch right while we are all standing there!

I don't usually write reviews anywhere but this was a very frustrating experience to me .I had a bad experience because I tried to get money out of my account and they told me that the bank doesn't have enough money. I have to wait until Monday to get money from my account. They also asked me why I wanted to withdraw my money which I think that shouldn't be their business since it's my money. And told me in a threatening way that they had to report to the IRS which I think is wrong because they are going to report that I went to withdraw MY money from MY account. That is ridiculous in my opinion.

Glad I do not bank here. This is the worst bank I have ever visited. It‘s dark with no light and very worn down with horrible service. Teller Lisseth took a customer who came in and just sat down. She was not in line the teller assisted us as we were watching her but there was no acknowledgment to all the other clients who were waiting in line. Mind you waiting longer than the “other lady who just sat”. And no she was not in the business line. This place is ghetto what a joke of a bank.

Erick was extremely friendly and helpful! He gave everyone the same great service, while also keeping the line going. There ARE long lines, BUT it was a short wait. The professionalism and willingness to help everyone with a smile made up for any time in line. Thank you

My partner has a 401k with Merrill Lynch and and Ira and investment account that he takes money out on for his own use they send him a check he goes to Bank of America who is associated with them or as far as my understanding. Merrill sent him a check to cash out from his own money and he went into your establishment and your manger by the name Lisseth Melendez refuse to cash it , instead of doing her job to verify she turned him away and said she did not feel it was a real check ????? So then why not verify or try to help if the check Is from a company you do business with! She then said she was not gonna give out money out for free ??? Not only was she rude but unprofessional too . I am my self bank with Bank of America I have 3 account here and I feel like this was not handled correctly and I don't appreciate how this one particular branch seems to always have rude people working and very unprofessional . Quick note it's not the first time he cashed a check from Merrill and he doesn't have to have a bank account with BOA they have never have giving him a hard time to cash it till today , so he went to another branch and no problem cashed it as they always have
