My first review was removed and I have no idea why. I pointed out what all the other reviewers have--the rude and/or dismissive customer service and lack of staffing thus making long lines and wait times. I added that their automated phone line states they take a 30 min lunch between the hours of 12noon and 1pm when, in fact, they told me last week that they take a ONE HOUR lunch. When I asked when that changed I was dismissed with the flick of a hand & told "it's been that way for a year"--yet again, NOT what is stated on the recording when you call. However, I am so happy to report that I have left this pharmacy and am now registered at one that is adequately staffed, has pleasant staff and takes a cut&dried 30 min lunch between 1230 and 1pm--no "loosey-goosey' with the hours.

Since Chad left, this pharmacy has hit the skids. The current staff are rude, dismissive and generally uncaring. Phone lines are never answered and questions from physician offices and insurance carriers go unanswered. Goodbye Vons and hello Walgreens!

Very poor customer service. The clerk and the pharmacist have a bad attitude and don't want to hear any of the customers issues. My meds were called in and when I went to pick it up I was told they were out, had to reorder and check back after 2:00 tomorrow. I explained that I had been at immediate care because of severe pain and needed some relief. After the clerk spoke to the pharmacist I was told "these are not pain meds" I knew that, just looking for some relief. I left, when I got home I called back to the pharmacy to see if I had any other options so I didn't have to suffer another night. The pharmacist came to the phone and told me if I could get there before 8:00 pm she could find a few tablets for me. When I arrived there I asked why she didn't offer these to me before? I was told that the shelves in the back are a mess. Who's problem is that?I've been a customer for 20+ years and never had a experience like that. Hopefully, this can be fixed? I may have to switch to CVS? Walmart may even have better customer service than Vons?

Horrible Horrible experience the 2nd time I have filled a prescription at this Von’s pharmacy in Palm Springs CA. I sent in the referral last week. Was told I would be able to pick it up on Sat. My DR sent me a txt on Friday letting me know he had approved it. Vons said it would be ready for pick up on Sat. I called on Monday to verify it was ready for pick up. I spoke to Rosa and she said there was nothing showing my prescription in the computer . I explained the entire situation to her. She said I had to go in and re input the request again. I hung up and the input the request. A couple of hours later I went into Vons. The lady who helped me said there was still nothing in the computer she looked up the last time I picked up this medicine., she said she re submitted the request and included the “good rx” discount. She said it would be ready on 45 min. I called back 2 hours later. Done to Rods again. She said there was no prescription request in the computer. I again explained this has been going on a week. Rosa was rude and said I needed to call my DR and have him resubmit it. I explained I had already done this twice. I tried to explain there was something incorrect vin’s pharmacy was doing . She just was not listening at all. I asked to speak to a pharmacist. Put me on hold for 25 min. The pharmacist came on the phone started telling me she didn’t see anything. I tried to explain the situation again but she was not listening. She said she needed the DR to approve the “good rx” discount. At this point I’m still waiting for my medication. I have received the most terrible service from Vons pharmacy in Palm Springs. No one appears to be helpful at all. I’m not sure who I can call at a higher lever for assistance. It’s really a nightmare.

I have been a happy Vons and Vons Pharmacy customer for nearly 20 years. I'd never had a problem getting prescriptions filled. Something has obviously changed there recently, and the prescriptions I've had for years keep getting kicked back to my doctors for edits. No one tells you there might be a delay. I have been waiting over a month for one script. Once it was finally accepted, I find out they could not source the medication. Again, no one tells you that - I had to call. I'm hesitant to blame staff, since they have been friendly and helpful in person and on the phone. Perhaps there's been a change in policy or management.I can no longer count on timely fills or refills, and that's pretty much what you need from your local pharmacist.

Receiving information from the pharmacy staff about fill dates and insurance coverage as related is like pulling teeth - Be sure to continuously ask the right detailed follow-up questions because over the phone, the pharmacy staff will provide the bare minimum of information - They are clearly in a hurry and are likely understaffed.

Transferred by prescription here from Costco a year or so ago. I'mDone with pharmacies being so short staffed that it takes over thirty minutes just to pick up your meds. On to a pharmacy that will ship it directly to me.

The worst Pharmacy I've ever had. They never answer their phones. Even my doctors office when they call never get through. I don't recommend this pharmacy AT ALL! I spend over 3 thousand a month in medications and never on time. They always run out of my meds and have to order them. It takes a couple of days sometime to get them. Meanwhile I out of lifesaving medication for a couple of days. They know I get them every month. Im just tired of this BS!! You want my money or not. I guess your answer would be NOT. You do not have any good review's

I don't like leaving negative reviews, but I want to let people who need their prescriptions in a hurry know this is not the place to go. Besides the constant long lines, generally rude associates, the wait for them to order medications is crazy. It was sent in on a Monday, I didn't receive notice it was ready so Tuesday I called (it took 4 tries throughout the day to get someone to answer) I was told it was ordered and would arrive late that afternoon. I arrived before they closed to give them some extra time to get it ready. Turns out there was an issue with the warehouse, whatever that means, and it "Might" be ready by the end of Wednesday. In the mean time I am in desperate need of my medication and stuck hoping on a "Might" that it shows up.

Prescriptions take weeks to fill. The staff is confrontational and condescending. Arguing with customers just to get a prescription filled is bad business. Claiming that a prescription needs to be ordered is taking weeks when no drug shortages exist. Drugs had taken a single day are taking WEEKS!

It's sad to see that customer service has gone down to the point where the front staff are rude and defensive. Prescriptions are never filled on time and no one bothers to answer the phone so you have to go to the store to get any answers. I've transferred all of my prescriptions to another pharmacy and even that took 6 phone calls to accomplish. I'm glad I won't have to deal with them anymore.
