Here are all the dishes you can make by shopping here: Hungarian cuisine is renowned for its rich and hearty dishes, often featuring paprika as a key ingredient. Some of the most famous and well-known Hungarian dishes include: Goulash (Gulyás): A hearty soup or stew made with tender chunks of beef, paprika, onions, and vegetables. It's often seasoned with traditional Hungarian spices and served with crusty bread or dumplings. Chicken Paprikash (Paprikás Csirke): Chicken simmered in a creamy sauce flavored with paprika and sour cream, typically served over dumplings or noodles. Lángos: Deep-fried dough, similar to a flatbread or fritter, often topped with garlic, sour cream, cheese, or other savory toppings. Dobos Torte: A classic Hungarian dessert consisting of multiple layers of sponge cake filled with chocolate buttercream and topped with a shiny caramel glaze. Hortobágyi Palacsinta: Savory Hungarian pancakes stuffed with a mixture of ground meat (usually veal), onions, and spices, served with a rich paprika sauce. Töltött Káposzta: Cabbage rolls filled with a mixture of ground pork and beef, rice, and spices, cooked in a tomato-based sauce. Székely Gulyás: A variation of goulash featuring sauerkraut and pork or beef, flavored with paprika and sour cream. Pörkölt: A stew made with meat (usually pork, beef, or chicken) cooked with onions, paprika, and tomatoes, often served with noodles or dumplings. Hungarian Sausages: A variety of flavorful sausages, such as kolbász and debreceni, commonly enjoyed as part of Hungarian cuisine. Rakott Krumpli: A layered dish with potatoes, sausages, hard-boiled eggs, and sour cream, often baked to create a delicious casserole.

I was so happy to discover this place. I was able to get my Hungarian kolbaz here without leaving the area and it's made fresh and was exactly like the kolbaz my family made growing up in Detroit. The owner was very nice too! I will be a regular now.

Good selection of products from Europe. Cottage cheese, buckwheat porridge, chocolate, saddle, dumplings, pickled and salted vegetables in jars and much more. The prices are acceptable. Check the expiration date, sometimes there are not fresh products.

Made me feel like back to the old country 50 years ago, this kind of service was one of the reasons I escaped . Also I bought a salami that from the outside looked nice, but it turned out to be some old, dried out one. So, although I love that kind of food, but just rather order it from other stores.

3.5 Stars Quaint shop with grocery specialty items from the eastern European region. We've shopped here several times and the woman who's always working (I believe she's the owner) can provide "hit or miss" service, depending on her mood. That said, I like the sausage and other meat products they sell. It's also a lot of fun to look around at the interesting specialty food items and accoutrements. Store hours are somewhat limited, and we've stopped by a couple times when they're supposed to be open, but they're not. Very frustrating. There are parking spaces available right in front of the store. I will continue to shop here, but they need to improve consistency of service before I give a higher rating.

So glad to have found your store in our area. Thank you for carrying specialty cheeses and yogurt (French feta by Valbreso and Greek Byblos yogurt) that are difficult to find In the Valley. We will definitely be coming back and thank you for the wonderful & friendly service.

They've got all the rare Soviet treats you can't find anywhere else, and the prices are great. You can get Doktorskaya Kolbasa and Kvass here.
