What an excellent experience. Everyone was so helpful, friendly, professional and efficient. Rich checked us in and made it quick and easy. He was really nice. Elie met us when we returned the car. What a great experience. He was friendly, and honestly interested in our rental experience. Elie offered the best check in procedure we have ever had. So sincere, professional and congenital. National Car rental is always top notch. My Emerald Club pricing for my vacation week in Palm Springs in Oct. 2023 was lower than all the competitors and we had a lovely BMW sedan as our assigned car. Will always use National!

Arrived Palm Springs Airport Nov. 9th and departed Nov. 13th 2023. Great expedited Check in by Rich at National while others waited hours for "discounted" rentals......Had to exchange the car after one day due to a nail in the tire and once again great turn around by Rich. Drop off was smooth on both occasions handled by Olivia...... while other rental lines were backed out onto the public roads. Will be back.....

National is the best. We had a two week rental in Palm Springs and half way through I wanted to exchange the SUV I had for another. Not a single issue with the National staff and they went out of their way to provide an appropriate alternative.

Extremely easy and efficient pick-up, vehicle was not the best. Dashboard Apple CarPlay and satellite radio stopped working. Had to reset entire dashboard. Easy return.

I think we can all agree that airport travel can be exhausting. Sharing such a small space with so many people with their habits and personalities can make a person sorta cranky.When facing the next leg of your journey after deplaning, going pee, and getting luggage, you join a seemingly long line of customers at National Car Rental at the Palm Springs airport. The last thing you want is an unhelpful, not-want-to-be-there customer service employee.Well, you will be pleasantly surprised by your experience at this particular National Car Rental. Helpful, cheerful, polite, positive, efficient service awaits…

I returned my rental to PSP Saturday 10/28 at around 4:45 pm. The employee I met with was terrific. very professional. very helpful. He is a great employee. Please give him a good review!

So, there wasn't an Emerald Aisle at this location which IMHO sets National apart from the others, but the staff was helpful and efficient at getting my rental lined up and overall the experience met complete satisfaction and I'd like to shout out Athziri for going above and beyond to ensure expectations were met. Keep up the good work people!

If there was a negative number for a review, that is what I would choose. I set up one way use and called to confirm. Nope. Not happening from Palm Springs! They went back on their word OR the person who made my reservations just agreed with me to get me off the line. Absolutely the WORST experience. My husband is a frequent user of National - which it turned out that was a disadvantage as well. Did I mention horrible experience?

I've been a National customer for many years and have visited many locations throughout the US. Some locations are excellent and deserving of a review and some have been not so excellent to extremely disappointing. The customer service at this Palm Springs location has consistently been 5 stars. Thank you Adel Alnajar and Team for always providing prompt, professional service! It is much appreciated.

Disappointing Experience at National Car Rental, Palm SpringsI'm a frequent renter with National, typically on a weekly basis, and an executive elite member. But my recent experience at the Palm Springs location was truly disappointing, unlike any other I've had before. Firstly, the vehicle I was given was in poor condition. It was damaged, reeked of smoke, and failed to function properly. As it was a free rental via the free rental days program, I chose not to complain then.However, the trouble began at the end of my rental. I asked the agent to charge the ending balance to a different card, to which they agreed, stating I would see the change reflected in my account within 7-14 days. It's been more than a month since, and I've called every week chasing a refund, only to be reassured it would be handled. But there's been no progress.A month into this, I learned there was a note on my account from Palm Springs, stating that I need to visit a physical National location for the charge to be shifted to another card. This information would have been invaluable if shared earlier, but instead, I was left to chase an elusive refund. It's baffling to see this kind of communication breakdown in a company I've trusted so long.Despite my communication preferences, no one from National, neither corporate nor the Palm Springs location, reached out via email or calls. When I turned to customer care for assistance, I encountered rudeness and was transferred to a number that left me on hold for 45 minutes.I'm sad to say, but I can't recommend renting from National's Palm Springs location or even National in general at this point. The false information, lack of communication, and poor customer service are not how an executive elite member or any customer should be treated.

Assigned a car in minutes while Hertz and Avis had long lines. Received a nicely appointed, low miles (not even 2000 miles) Audi A3 with leather, sunroof, sport appearance package, etc. Much nicer than I was expecting. Car return was also super simple. Staff were great on both ends of the transaction.

A+ experience at National Car Rental at the Palm Springs, CA airport (PSP). Extremely fast to get my keys, get to my car and depart. Matt was excellent when returning the vehicle - great attitude and extremely speedy in checking my vehicle and providing a receipt.

when we first landed in Palm Springs, there were no rental cars available, so we had to wait. Ended up with a nice rental car, however, either the battery was going dead or the alternator was going out, the car was having a hard time starting at the end of our week. When we returned the car to PSP, we told the attendant of what happened. He was so professional and really took good care of us. His name is Jackson, and National, if you really do read these, this young man is a shining star of what excellent service is all about.

Car Rental & Check Out - Great. Theft of accidentally left behind suit coat - Terrible. Palm Springs Airport is a small airport - so when you leave something behind in a rental car (especially a nice suit coat), it should be easy to find and recover. At best 3 people had access to the vehicle after check in. 1st - my error ... so I own that. 2nd - You cannot speak to ANYONE live. 3rd - The last recorded found item at National Palm Springs was WEEKS AGO (really Coachella Music Festival just happened). 4th - No Urgency, No Updates, No Nothing - So the longer it goes missing, the risk of theft goes up. National Car Rental AND in particular the Palm Springs location DOESNT CARE. 5th - my beautiful sport coat is gone .... so is my career long loyalty to National Car Rental. Hope you enjoy my suit coat!
