In this disheartening episode at the store, Mitchell's actions paint a troubling picture. I personally experienced persistent stares and discomfort, echoing another customer's claim of racial profiling. Mitchell's defensive response, stating, 'As far as being racist I am not, however, I hate having to police people like yourself, so go steal somewhere else! You're not welcome here,' only deepens the concern. It's disappointing to witness such unwelcoming behavior tarnishing the supposedly inclusive Palm Springs fashion scene. I'll be emailing the better business bureau, have a nice day Michel KKK.

The owner of Mitchells Palm Springs, Mr. Mitchell, is known for his unique fashion sense and love for his dogs, who are a constant presence in the store. He greets customers with enthusiasm and the store's lively atmosphere is a reflection of his infectious energy. Customers are welcome to interact with the dogs, who are named after famous designers. However, visitors should be aware that some items may be overpriced, and it's important to know your designer labels. The store's staff is knowledgeable and happy to offer advice. Despite this, Mitchells Palm Springs is a special and unforgettable destination.

This store is absolutely gorgeous. The silk scarves alone are worth the trip. The owner was so sweet and friendly, he understands who his customer is, for sure. The perfect place to outfit your Palm Springs visit or lifestyle.

Any trip to Palm Springs is not complete until you’ve stopped in at Mitchell’s! I have been coming here for over 5 years and ALWAYS walk out with something whether for myself, my husband, my mom, one of our 5 kids, or friends. From amazing vintage clothing to jewelry, sunglasses and bags (I love my Bottega hobo!) there is a treasure waiting for you. No digging (he does all the hard work), no errands (all items in perfect vintage shape)—just a super fun shopping experience.

Great selection of designer clothing. This is not a goodwill or Buffalo exchange. Expect to drop some $ on some nice vintage clothing. We went on a day that the A/C broke but because Mitchell’s personality we stayed and ended up scoring on some FAB items for my fiancé. He was SO very helpful.
