This store appears to be wholsome from the outside looking in, but it's not. I went in with my nine year old son to buy a little dog figure. I went to the register to pay, and to my surprise, there was a big monitor showing all of their security camera angles. One of the cameras was pointing to an adult toy section that they had in the back, which I had no knowledge of. From the monitor, you can clearly see a dildo up and close for some reason. I understand that stores like this exists but you usually know when you are entering a store like that. This store is definitely going through an identity crisis. It doesn't know what it wants to be. Should NOT carry kids' toys while also carrying adult toys.

I agree about the unpleasant service but they do have really cute cards and paraphernalia It's definitely touristy so they should welcome everyone! I still enjoyed coming in here today.

I don't get the rude service comments. The owner was pleasant to me. The co-owner has been polite every time I have shopped there. I observed them engaging other customers as well. So unless there was a rude worker being consistently unpleasant in the past, I don't get the criticism. I will mirror another reviewer's comments on prices. At worst, most items will be comparable to other gift shops in town. But I bought an adult item and found out I paid much less than stores on Arenas and Sunny Dunes Road were selling it for. The owner said he had the best prices on those types of items. I believe him. It pays to shop around. Plus it gives you something to do in town. The store is not big and doesn't have tons of items. But it is worth a peek.

Second or 3rf time entering the store, never once felted welcome, yesterday the guy didn't even say hello, not even thank you after purchasing some items.He was to busy watching his screen.Wander why I never seen a soul in there, what a shame and embarrassing for my community.

Desert Mischief is an interesting place to visit because they have such a wide variety of things from gift cards to candles to magnets to souvenir type things as well as things for adults in fact there is an adult section in the rear of the store to keep it separated. They have great prices on the things that I buy and they also have sales almost every week on certain products and today was on all products in the store were 10% off so I think it's a great place to visit and if you're downtown there's so much other shopping around it places to eat so it should be popular with tourists as well as with locals.

Do you other reviews are a little in accurate I believe. I think it is amazing they have the best prices in town for popper, lube and toys. Not to mention they have a great selection of cards and a little gifts. Also they are always having sales with up to 15% off they're already ridiculously low prices. I don't listen to these other negative reviews. And the owners have been nothing but nice and kind to me and to whomever I've sent to them. Definitely check them out and you'll be glad you did.

Super rude customer service! Was able to get poppers but guy was an a**hole. Would have been happy to pay for a bag since the pockets in these shorts are super tight, but he wouldn't give me a chance to do that, just said "um NO!" If you can get poppers elsewhere then don't give your business to this trash place!

This place is great and has some of the lowest prices on lube and other adult toys and gadgets that I've seen. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. I have been coming here for years and highly recommend this establishment . They even have a website you can order online.

What an opening with the wrong people! Unfortunately staff is rude and will wait in the back and pop up and say "yeah can I help you with something" then continue to be a j*** to you while trying to help out a small business. I hope Charles is doing great though he's the only reason I attempted giving new management a visit.
