Not sure i get the poor reviews here. The owner is a doll and super helpful and her pieces are one of a kind. Not cheap but worth every penny. If you want to look like everyone else, don't shop here!

The owners daughter is someone to watch out for. She will try to overcharge you, so be very careful if you decide to shop there.

This is a beautiful store in the heart of downtown Palm Springs, full of the most beautiful dresses, jewelry, purses, dress shirts, and more. It is owned by Marianne herself, who dresses elegantly all the time! There are also cool photos of herself and family/friends (at different points in time) all over the walls. There are many photos at drag shows and in fancy gowns, so it's like you can see people's lives like a movie in front of you. The walls show the history of the store owner and of everything inside. I seriously recommend you come to this store when in Palm Springs.

I saw a lovely elephant necklace hanging with matching earrings so I tried on the necklace and loved it. The owner told me the set was on sale for $29. She turned her back to me as she wrapped the items in tissue and placed them in the bag. I paid her and left. I was traveling so didn’t open the bag until I got home. She wrapped only the necklace, not the matching earrings. What a bait and switch!! The attraction for me was the set, and I feel robbed. I don’t live close by so can’t go back. Be sure to check your bag and ensure you have all of you items before you leave because these people are dishonest.

I went into the store and saw a great beaded gown and although quite overpriced there was 20% off so I tried it on and it required alterations to the length and take away material at the armpits. I’m assuming Marianne the owner was who helped me and offered alterations. She pinned the bottom but stated she needed to make a cut at the top to show me how it would look altered as she suggested. She asked if I was sure I wanted the dress before she cut it. She did not mention a cost being associated with alterations and considering the dress was over $500 I assumed alterations were included. I shop at high end dress shops and have had the owner/dress maker alter at no extra cost so it is not unheard of. Once I got to the register to pay (and discussing coming back the next day to possibly buy more items) is when i was hit with alterations are an extra $40. Once she saw my surprise she offered to do alterations for $30 but no less. I expressed my dissatisfaction that the additional cost was not mentioned and her response “well you didn’t ask”. She tried to justify that alterations always cost and I let her know that for a $20 dress sure but a $500 dress is quite a different price point. And to be clear the beading is not located in areas to be altered. The stretchy rayon needs only to be cut with no stitching - in fact the arm area looked unfinished. This woman is a terrible businesswoman and has no integrity. I honored my end and still purchased the dress bc I stated I would after she made a cut. So if you are considering going into her shop be sure to ask clearly about prices. There are other shops with items very similar in every city I’ve shopped in so although nice pieces there is absolutely nothing I’d ever need to buy from someone like her again.

Lots of beautiful vintage pieces. Grabbed a stunning 50s dress right away. Always finding lovely stuff in California vintage stores. Enjoyed this place.

This is a step back in time when Hollywood was glamorous, and women didn't mind a little bling with their wardrobe. Marianne is the owner who's tri lingual with an employee who's fluent Spanish. So don't let a language barrier be the reason you don't go! Marianne is amazing and lovely and a hustler. She's open every day until 10pm and wait until you find her age. I love my goodies I got and when you see me in the Chanel earrings, you'll never know if they're knockoffs or the real thing. Thanks, Marianne. She will ship anywhere! Go see her!

Absolutely horrible establishment. Would give it a 0 star if I could. I've been a long time customer and have spent a good amount of money here on a bathing suit along with jewelry and always loved going in as I've lived in Palm Springs my whole life!!! Always went with my mom and never had problems but now that I am older I do things alone and went with just my gal friend and my sister one night and will never step foot in here again. The lady, Marianne maybe, was outside looking like she was going for a cigarette break in front of the open shop as my friend and I were going in and she sighed and follows in behind us. We start looking around and we had just went to the candy shop in downtown, so my friend was carrying her little squirt candy, to which the lady, CLOSELY watching and keeping an eye on us says to her "can you not vape in here" old lady, it's not a vape it's candy! We told her it was just candy and she said no food or drinks, it's candy old lady!! Anyways we continue looking and she is just watching so closely, it was awkward and so unenjoyable. My friend bent down to tie my sisters shoe lace and Marianne could clearly see what they were doing but still chose to watch intently and stand right beside them so we told her we were just tying a lace. I was looking to buy a silver bracelet but quickly left because she is either going through a breakup, divorce, or menopause (i'll pray for her no matter what) with how she was acting. She needs to find something to do with her life that she actually enjoys. As soon as we left she followed us out to probably have a cigarette and calm down. Don't go here. Plus, the store is junky and overcrowded she needs to spend time organizing it.

Owner is VERY racist. As soon as she heard my friends and I speaking Spanish, she began following us around the store. Made a rude comment to us, "aren't you girls cold" with the meanest mug. Actually no lady, you're just old. Tried on a cardigan and as I placed it back on the hanger, she made another comment, " wow thanks for putting it back on the hanger." Before we walked in, she was politely making conversation with a white customer. Unless you want to experience micro aggression, I would avoid this store at all costs.

Bad service!!!As a professional performer and entertainer I recognize the quality of well made costume jewelry as Marianne's stocks. But customer service was less than desirable. A group of my fellow performers and myself stumbled on this store by recommendation. Like kids in a candy store, we piled in to discover many treasures to be had! To our surprise, a grouchy, rude and deflated cashier yelled loudly to someone for backup, and directly asked him to "watch us" .....as if the 5 other shopping bags we each were holding signified we weren't going to spend $$$ and somehow we were gonna rip off the store... seriously? We are all over 40 and some with kids. Who does that!!! I'm not sure in my 35 years of performance costume jewelry shopping that I have ever experienced such an associate NOT willing to be pleasant. Totally beside myself, I tried to ignore the unpleasant, abrasively rude, condescending and bitter cashier. Then... and after purchasing over $300 between us all, I still tried to support local business and asked for social media connect to tag the store and info for our fellow performers and social media following. I was slapped with a "No" and an excuse of "the owner doesn't do that and will not change". Does that mean they don't want business? I'm confused and offended. So...I will not be making any referrals for Marianne as long as that woman employee with the long black hair and lip piercing is working there. What a detriment to Marianne and her son. Maybe she was on drugs? Shame on you Marianne for employing a person like that to represent you and your business.

I purchased a tie without trying it on the the chain for this studded tie needed to be extended and she had the equipment and the tools to do it, but she said she had to charge me money to do that even though I just purchased it and it was not the right size really bad public relations and not taking care of their good customers.

This absolutely is THE BEST STORE IN ALL OF PALM SPRINGS! Walking into this store I was welcomed by the most beautiful and graceful woman Marianne who immediately made me feel special and beautiful. Walking around her store was like walking round some of the most beautiful pieces that only the best of the best could wear! There is truly something in there for anyone and everyone! This is my favorite store in all of Southern California! If your a trend setter you MUST check it out! If you want compliments on what your wearing and have peoples heads turn this is the place where you make it happen! Marianne is all about building a good relationship with her customers, it means more to her that she gets to meet all different people from all different places, after talking to her and begging her to hire me she sold me 600$ worth of INCREDIBLE STATEMENT PIECES that only Lady Gaga could rock and gave me a hug on the way out. I highly recommend stopping in and checking it out I guarantee you won’t regret it!
