I had medication I needed to urgently pick up while I was out of town in Idyllwild. I tried calling the pharmacy to confirm they had my medication in stock and available prior to driving over an hour into town. I was transferred to an operating system, and I couldn't speak to a real person to get my questions answered about my medication. Poor system in place, and very inconvenient for getting any help via phone.

Top-notch pharmacy that feels amply staffed by caring, knowledgeable people. It’s a small place with a limited variety of over-the-counter products such as analgesics and ointments, but really, you come here for the (prescription) drugs.

Wow. What a difference between Northern and Southern CA Kaiser.I loved N Cal Kaiser. But, S. Cal is the absolute worst at everything. And, they're extremely rude and EXTREMELY unhelpful to boot!Go anywhere but Kaiser S Cal. I spent one year and switched to Blue Shield. What a difference....Blue Shield: Helpful? YesFriendly? YesOrganized? VeryGood Follow up? YesKnowledgeable staff? Yes...And Yes, Yes, Yes.S CA Kaiser, NO, NO, NO, Please No! The difference is extreme! I am SOOO glad I made the switch.

While I love Kaiser as a whole, I was very unimpressed with this facility. It's very grungy on the outside, and not what I expected for my first encounter as a new Kaiser Permanente client, especially from a well known and respected medical establishment.

Check in with Michelle was very efficient & easy. Nurse Jaynelle was very friendly, & made me feel at ease. This was my first visit here & had literally no wait time! Dr. Nasr was very easy to talk to, didn't make me feel like i was being interrogated or like my concerns were being dismissed. Got my lab work done same day, same facility, so easy! My phlebotomist was great too, just didn't get to see her name. Overall 10/10.

Dr. Van Guilder and the Palm Springs Kaiser office consistently does not respond to emails or calls/messages to the appointments call center.

Al the staff are always so kind, efficient and helpful. I know it’s a stressful job with lots of desperate and testy customers but you all are great!

Things have changed since last year. These employees here at Palm Springs pharmacy are great. They are kind & considerate. They try very hard to help you with your meds when there is an issue. I order most of my meds on line but have a few I have to pick up. I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes They are prompt and efficient. All are very friendly and helpful. 5 stars to this place!

Easy to access this pharmacy when you're in Palm Springs. But remember, they are closed on Saturday & Sunday. They also take lunch from 12:30-1:30pm. So plan accordingly. But staff is friendly & helpful & I've always had excellent service.

5-stars for medical care. 1-star for customer service. Overall: 4-stars. Like all Kaiser medical offices, the actual health care by doctors, nurses, and ancillary staff is excellent. Dr. George is wonderful! The complex bureaucracy of getting that care is another matter. If you can tough it out and learn the bureaucracy by trial and error, then this is an excellent choice for quality healthcare with budget customer service. I'm the advocate for my elderly suego papá. Some types of appointments are very difficult to schedule. His doctor ordered a follow-up medication that required an injection. We spoke with 5 people at the call center and wrote 4 emails before anyone would explain how to book this appointment. (Answer: Email to doctor. Then doctor's nurse will schedule. Some appointments cannot be done by the call center.) Now that we "cut our teeth" I can laugh about it. At the end of the day, the main thing is the actual medical care which is excellent.
