It's still one of the best full service medical facilities I've ever been to. 35 years of great service and counting I will never go with anybody else and here in desert hot springs they don't have a lot of Kaiser Permanente

When I told my doctor at Kaiser that I needed a referral as of Jan 1st when my insurance changed to United HealthCare and I would no longer be using Kaiser he refused to do it. He didn't say he couldn't- he adamantly wouldn't. Talk about abandoning a patient! I am issuing a formal complaint to the state board. Try making an appointment without a primary doctor referral? No one will take you. TJC

These people don't know how to stay organized. They have horrible customer service. The front desk girl will go to the restroom for 15 minutes 10 minutes after they open leaving a line out the door. They sent me to the nurse to get sent back for labs. Please hire better staff that care about someone having to come in 4 times for one order of labs. People have jobs and lives that have to be put on hold because of you not caring about your job. Selfish healthcare providers.

Carlos in the lab, did a perfect job of drawing blood! I did not feel anything, and had no hesitation from him to use a butterfly when I said I had small veins. He should teach the others in the area the right way to do the job!

I met with Dr. Nasr, who is by far the best physician my husband and I have ever come in contact with, but that’s no secret! Everyone tells me the same thing. Both nurses in the office today, Ian & Giselle were stellar also. They were friendly, kind, put me at ease, and agreed with me wholeheartedly when I said I felt I had the best physician in all of Kaiser. They told me lots of ppl said the same & they felt so, too. Then I got to the Lab. Carlos V. apologized for the wait, which truly wasn’t long at all, then after formalities, proceeded to chat with me & make me feel at ease. He distracted me so well that I didn’t even feel the poke of the needle! Before I knew it he was thanking me and saying he would open the door as I exited. What I love about Kaiser is this: Everyone I come across from doctors to nurses to lab techs make me feel like family, in addition to their skills being second to none. Kaiser is the best & I’m beyond blessed to have them leading the charge in my medical care.

Wow. What a difference between Northern and Southern CA Kaiser. I loved N Cal Kaiser. But, S. Cal is the absolute worst at everything. And, they're extremely rude and EXTREMELY unhelpful to boot! Go anywhere but Kaiser S Cal. I spent one year and switched to Blue Shield. What a difference.... Blue Shield: Helpful? Yes Friendly? Yes Organized? Very Good Follow up? Yes Knowledgeable staff? Yes... And Yes, Yes, Yes. S CA Kaiser, NO, NO, NO, Please No! The difference is extreme! I am SOOO glad I made the switch.
