They're simply here to explain how difficult your taxes will be and then raise the price. Actually, I have my taxes already done on my app. I was informed that they could not find it and was told it would cost about $400 to do my taxes, if they were to help me and I would be better off doing it myself at home. Is that with this place is here for?

I paid $275 on February 17, 2023, to have my tax forms prepared and sent electronically to IRS and to CA Franchise Board. The charge was debited to my Chase checking account that day. Probably because of an electronics problem in the H&R Block office on Sunrise Way in Palm Springs, they say they were not paid by Chase bank. Although I have paid their fee in full and given them proof of my payment, the tax preparer told me my forms would not be sent electronically until their problem with Chase is resolved. This is unacceptable.

If I could give a negitive 5 I would. I have been going to H&R Block for about 15 years and never paid more than $50.00 to have my taxes done. This year I bought an electri car and got a $750.00 tax credit. I dropped all my paperwork off and wa told they would call me when IRS opened for tax season. They then called me and asked if I wanted my taxes done. Remind you I never paid more than $50.00. This year I was charged $244.00 and $39.00 for a direct deposit fee. because they had my tax refund sent to them then they could charge me the fee. So they took all but $9.00 of my state refund. They dont return calls because they know they rip people off.
