“We were in the market for a new mattress, and the reviews for Mattress Specialist sounded good, so we decided they would be our first stop. It turned out we didn't need to shop any further.

Jim was the salesperson on duty. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the various mattresses they have in stock. We tried several and made our decision. The owner, Mike, arrived while we were completing our purchase. Also a very nice guy.

The only downside was that our mattress was not in stock, so we have to wait a couple of weeks before the (free) delivery. I will update my review once the delivery is complete.

All in all, a great experience. Definitely recommend.”

“What more can I say than this shop saved my trip to Palm Springs. It's like all the best PS has to offer is wrapped up in this one building. At least from my perspective.

I grew up in the SF Bay Area and worked and lived most of my life in The Castro...So there's that. As part of a getaway to Joshua Tree (Fantastic) I thought it would be a good idea to end the trip in PS . Boy was that a mistake. We splurged ($$$$) on a "historic resort" that should have been retired years ago and the strip was as if Fisherman's Wharf and The Castro were combined into a tacky tourist swamp.

I have always been told how great PS was but I'm sorry I just don't get it. Thank god for the friendly and talented folks at Thirteen Forty Five”

“Not at all what we expected. I searched Yelp for thrift stores and this one popped up in search results. The reviews made it sound eclectic. It was actually more high-end, clean, smooth, subdued, and leaning towards one style. Most items looked new. The person who greets you is very inviting and I think without her, we may have turned right around and left immediately. But we walked through and took a look at everything. I wish Yelp would not group this business into results for thrift stores because it absolutely is not one.”

“This store is fantastic. You can walk through the store in about 30 seconds but it'll take a lot longer than that to unpack what's actually being displayed. There is no shortage of artistry, style, and SWAG in this shop. The owners are knowledgeable about everything in the store, it's history, and overall create a welcoming environment to wander through. It's obvious everything has been meticulously collected. You couldn't fit more awesome stuff into a shop that size, well worth taking the time to visit!”

“George and his treasures are sights not to be missed in the Palm Springs scene. Whether you are a design buff or just want to see and shop unique and wonderful items, you must, must visit the shop. I was interested in seeing some items he received just before the virus shut down, and as soon as he could lawfully, he met me by appointment. I live in Huntington Beach and the drive was so worth it. I ended up not buying what intended, but had to stop myself after the fantastic items I bought.I could fill my home with so much of what he showcases. There's so much to see and he has impeccable taste and knowledge of all things from St. John to lucite tables. He is just a pleasure and I feel fortunate to have happened upon his shop. I will definitely be back and refer others to this gem of a location. The best of the best!”

“There was always something new to be found here! The folks that work here are super friendly and helpful. The theme is consistently good pieces of classic and antique mid-century art and antiques. They also have plenty of options for gifts including collectibles, books, and cool little pieces of design.

Definitely worth a visit if you are interested in mid-century items, or just want to get out of the heat for a minute. ?”

“The store is absolutely stunning! Service is wonderful, they are so friendly and helpful here. I would absolutely buy every piece of furniture and decor. Prices are a bit high, but these are pieces that you will keep for lifetime. One of my favorite furniture stores in Palm Springs, highly recommended!”

“I stand corrected.. Great place to find gorgeous one of a kind pieces that are 100% owned by the store owners. This store represents artists on an exclusive level. Every time I walk by or visit this store, the merchandise has changed up a bit and it's very interesting to see, as the owners have a terrific eye for works of art and furniture pieces that will stand the test of time.”

“We are thrilled to share our enthusiastic recommendation for Amy Smith's exceptional services. We moved to Palm Springs and had the pleasure of collaborating with Amy to transform our house into a warm and inviting home. Amy's talent as a designer is truly remarkable. She took the time to understand our preferences and the atmosphere we wanted to create, and the result was nothing short of amazing. Amy's design prowess and genuine approach to the process set her apart. Unlike some designers who might push for unnecessary additions to make a sale, Amy prioritized simplicity and functionality. Her philosophy of "less is more" resonated with us, and we were delighted to see that following her recommendations made a significant difference in our home's overall look and feel. Working with Amy was a pleasure from start to finish. Her professionalism, creativity, and easygoing nature made the process enjoyable. She is passionate about her work and dedicated to ensuring her client's satisfaction with the results. We are immensely grateful for the opportunity to work with Amy and wholeheartedly recommend her for any design project, regardless of size. If you're looking for a designer with outstanding talent and values honesty and collaboration, Amy Smith is the one to choose. We cannot imagine working with anyone else in the future and consider ourselves fortunate to have had Amy's expertise in transforming our new house into a home.”

“I was greatly impressed by the customer service provided by Monica Allen. Firstly, she is warm, welcoming, almost like visiting an old friend. This type of rapport is rare these days. She was also extremely knowledgeable and assisted us with careful attention. It is quite amazing how she manages the busy day, a graceful flow assisting all clients, but I never felt left hanging.Prior to my visit, other brands topped my list, but now I must say I have been totally sold! For comparison , I visited other furniture stores in the area, even ones with higher price tags, however, none came close to Room and Board.Premium quality with dedicated customer service is unparalleled.Thank you Monica, for the spectacular shopping experience.”

“Love world market, enjoy looking. Decent prices on a lot of items. Always find something. Clearance items all through the store. Some prices are...... crazy. So it depends on what you want and are willing to spend. Their sleep or lounge clothes are sooooo cute. Love bath rugs.”

“This is a fantastic space with tons of potential, but the current vendor layout feels a bit disjointed and overwhelming. Instead of isolated stalls, a more cohesive shopping experience could be created by consolidating items and merchandising them by theme or style. This would not only showcase the variety of products more effectively, but also prevent the feeling of seeing the "same thing" repeatedly. Imagine sections dedicated to vintage tees, streetwear, locally-made crafts, etc. This would make browsing more enjoyable and help shoppers discover hidden gems they might otherwise miss. A little reorganization could go a long way in transforming this space into a truly unique and engaging shopping destination.”

“The staff at West Elm in Palm Springs did a brilliant job in consulting with us about our purchase and sorting out some tricky wrinkles with payment using a foreign card. They all chimed in to help. We particularly adored Garren, who has a wonderful eye for design and style and color and saved us from making the wrong choices. He was fabulous, so thoughtful and kind, and left no stone unturned and was very patient. We are ecstatic about our purchases. The collections here are beautiful but relatively affordable. I highly recommend this store.”
