I have been a Registered Nurse for 44 years, and I do NOT recommend this medical office! This office is consistently and utterly incapable of responding to refill requests, taking up to TWO WEEKS to respond to the pharmacy. This issue has been ongoing for over a year, despite numerous phone calls of complaint, letters of complaint, and meetings with the practice manager. The bottom line is that the non-licensed and poorly-trained "medical assistants" who perform those kinds of tasks simply do not care one iota about the well-being of their patients. And management likewise does not care, in my opinion. Worse, the "attending physician" seems to change every year, suggesting to me that they are taking a job with this office, a job that they do not want, only while they search for a better job somewhere else. The attendings (not the residents) are, I believe, simply biding their time in a job they hate until they can move on to somewhere else. And their lack of real interest is clearly reflected in the way the practice operates on a day-to-day basis ... POORLY.

Avoid at all costs. I called and scheduled an annual wellness exam. This should be a zero copay with my insurance. When i got there, they refused to give me a wellness exam and said "no, this visit is to establish care." Whatever that means. I had many health issues I wanted addressed. They refused to address a single one. Doctor didn't even put me on the table, did not address a single concern, and basically made me feel like complete garbage. They said I immediately needed to schedule a follow up (to what?), but they had no appointments and it was not possible to schedule anything at all. It was totally unreal... Receptionist confirmed there was no copay. They then called me with a robot and texted me for weeks on end, but had zero appointments. Fast forward to 2 months later, and I get a bill in the mail. There was a copay which is completely unfair, as it should have been completely covered by my insurance as it was a wellness exam. I've been to a lot of clinics and low cost places and this was by far the worst experience with a doctor ever. I am 38 years old and have seen A LOT of doctors. This place needs to be shut down.

Im so tired of coming here and explaining that I’m not feeling well, they only focus on what they think is wrong not what you’re actually telling them you’re feeling. They want to think you’re just making things up in your head. They have you fill out a behavioral questionnaire and call it a day. This is why I need to switch. I don’t know why I’ve been coming here for so long, it’s been pointless

I gave 1 star because I had to. I want to leave zero stars, not because of the doctors, but because of the rude, unhelpful office staff. Especially Natalie and Sarah F. They should both be fired. This is my second issue with Natalie specifically. I emailed the office last issue with her, so this time I’m putting it into writing formally in a review. There are so many negative reviews about the office staff being rude…why are they still working here??I called in to check up on a prescription that was supposed to be faxed 2 days ago from my pharmacy. I also sent an email to Dr. Dallas 2 days ago for the refill. When I called, Natalie informed me that there was no fax, and they needed a fax to refill my prescription. I explained it was a medical emergency as it is my asthma medication, and I also explained that I had spoken with the pharmacist and they verified that they did fax the request two days ago. Natalie said there was nothing they could do for me and ended the call.I went back to the pharmacist and she went ahead and faxed another request and placed a phone call while I was there waiting. The pharmacist informed me that the doctors office doesn’t need a faxed form from them. She told me they should refill the prescription if I call in. She said “they are just being lazy”. This is unacceptable.I called Natalie back, and she was extremely over the top rude. I told her what the pharmacist said, and asked why they couldn’t help me with my refill over the phone, especially since I emailed 2 days ago with no response, and she responded “I don’t know”. I then asked for her supervisor. She sent me to Sarah F. I asked for Sarah’s last name and she immediately became defensive and told me she doesn’t have to give me that information. She was extremely impolite and unhelpful. I will admit that I got angry and used profanity. I said “Fuck”, she then told me she didn’t have to speak to me, and ended the call. I was so frustrated.I called back to speak to another supervisor, and Natalie transferred me to Sarah F’s voicemail. I called back in and Natalie told me there was no one else I could speak to. She is awful and I am still without an inhaler. This is the MOST unprofessional office staff I have ever encountered. They are rude, and give people responses that are not helpful and make them upset.

Dr. Palmer is a wonderful Physician. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I and my family have been patients with them since they opened. Remember to be kind to staff and they will be good to you. They take care of my whole immediate family and extended family. Very good bedside manner. Always good with any outside referrals. Only bad side is with the other drs we are reffered to.Referring dr. Office not always understanding. Almost always cleared up. Billing is great. Works with my insurance liason any time there is any issues. Best Family dr. I have had anywhere. Very kind and helpful to my Mom who has memory issues. Works well us to get her healthcare with any other outside Physicians. Rarely have any issues with Dr or staff. You guys are the best!!!

I had to reschedule a appointment for lack of available babysitter along with events out of my control and the woman states “You ARE aware you’re getting a no show right?” I say yes although I’m clearly standing in front of her and I state again no siblings allowed correct? “yes no EXTRA siblings and made a facial expression that was unnecessary. I’m aware Siblings are not allowed that’s why I am rescheduling. Better yet will be office with staff that is kid friendly.

That's fine, but with all of these negative reviews of your office staff, I sure hope Natalie and Sarah F also got letters!

Great doctors and awesome place. They have saved my life more than once. They are always listening to concerns I have and a willing to find out what the true issues are. I am very grateful for this caring team. They have found things many other doctors have missed just by listening and acting on my concerns. The office staff is nice everytime I call and responds promptly. I love it at this office.

Awful Center----This center very often rushes patients through, as if volume for money is much more important than this Family Medical Center's critical responsibility to take adequate time with each person to make the right diagnosis. The medical assistants are down right rude.

Horrible. Dr. Kim is an underqualified foreign educated physician representing First Choice Physician Partners. He provides false information and is unavailable for patient appointments. Dr. Carlson is worse in that she shared incorrect pharmaceutical information after I waited for her while I was being seen by a student! She's wholly incompetent and unprofessional. This corporation or partnership also has a contract with Desert Regional Medical Center. Beware. One of their few qualified physicians attended me in hospital (DRMC) whereupon I told him of my experience with FCPP. He remarked only that "it's a work in progress."

Dr. Brian Petrie is one of the best doctors I've ever been to. He is compassionate, thorough and has a great bedside manner. When choosing a doctor I would highly recommend him. He is located with the UCR docs at 555 E Tachevah.

Hands down the best doctors office in the valley! Dr. Palmer, the PA's and office staff are knowledgeable, they care about your experience as a patient and spend time with you to make sure that you are at ease with your treatment. Getting in for appointments is a breeze and unlike other offices they do not over schedule patients and leave you waiting for hours on end to be seen. This office really is compassionate, caring and they know what they are doing when it comes to caring for their patients! Thank you Dr. Palmer for being the best in the valley. From the initial call to make the appointment to the follow-up they are FANTASTIC! I highly recommend this office.

My son has been a patient for several years. He rarely needs to go to the doctors, except for an annual check up. Any time we have gone, the doctors office is packed with patients and the doctor always seems in a hurry. But for a once a year check up, it was fine. I would deal with it, over having to find another family doctor. Well today I left a message at their after hours service (about 5:30am) and asked for them to call me right away. My son has had a fever for over 36 hours and teledoc was concerned by the symptoms to have him checked by his primary to make sure it's not meningitis. By 10am I had not received a call from the doctors office, so I called again. And they said, out of their two locations, they only have one physician in today and she is all booked up. They don't have any availability and didn't seem concerned when I mentioned the teledoc's concern for meningitis. So....off to Urgent Care we go and to find a new primary doctor.

Do not come here. One of the worst medical experiences I have ever had. The receptionists are incredibly rude and deeply incompetent. Every single experience with this office has been a nightmare, including a mistaken diagnosis for a very serious illness. When I received said diagnosis I was worried and asked the receptionist if I could schedule an appointment to meet with Dr. Palmer (at this point I had been working with the one of the physician assistants, Rene, who had the bedside manner of a dead fish). I was told by the receptionist that Dr. Palmer was on vacation and there wasn't really a point in meeting with him anyway because, and I quote, "he is just going to tell you what the PA told you." After being given such serious news about my health, which, by the way, was delivered to me over the phone BY THE RECEPTIONIST, I was dismissed for wanting to follow up and know more. It wasn't until I ASKED for a referral to a specialist that I received more information in which I was finally told that Dr. Palmer's office was completely mistaken and I had no need to worry. I would literally rather go to urgent care and pay the extra money than deal with this horrible, unprofessional, dismally inarticulate office.
