“I was two minutes late for my flight 5 in the morning and my new flight wasn’t until 4pm. This is one of the best USOs I’ve been to. They have amazing hospitality and the volunteer named Virginia was very sweet and welcoming. Highly recommended”

“This shabby non-profit shop is a breath of fresh air in an over polished, over priced row of tourist shops. Plenty of gems for the brave diggings. Winston at the counter gave good service and deals. It was nice to see his local friends stop by and say hi. Very welcoming.atmosphere.”
“We took two walking tours with the society: Rat Pack Playground & Golden Era Hollywood Homes. The tour guides were very knowledgeable. The tours were a good combination of architecture education & the history of celebrity life in Palm Springs.The distance covered was very reasonable and the terrain was very manageable. Would highly recommend their tours to increase your knowledge of how the city came to be and how mid century modern began to flourish.”
“Eva and I had stopped by to have lunch at Shakey's. We had a PCM (Pizza, Chicken, and Mojo potatoes). The food was good and the manager, James, was very personable. Nice Luch.”
“My mother passed and my siblings and I are now donating most of her clothing and small items. Me and my sister went to the p.s. location to donate. Now it is quite a bit of bags so I was aware of maybe some hesitant on waning to exept all. And I was willing to go to other locations to donate. But I got alot of negative energy from the staff about the amount and the staff asked us to take it to the cat city location. And when we got to the cat city location the negative energy was there but they were willing to take our bags but said they were more full then the p.s. location we chose you as our charity to support but I didn't fell happy leaving like I did an positive thing. I will continue to support and shop but it puts a pause on my willingness to donate for a good reason. In all it was a total of 15 trash bags.
I do have to say that the cat city location seemed more excepting of our donations but more annoyed by the p.s. comments on sening us over.”

“Today is 14yrs since my brother, Dean Lapin, passed away. This was his 2nd home, family, friends, medical/living assistance, place of purpose volunteering. I can't thank you all enough for all you provided for my brother...I think of you all a few times a year, sending love and gratitude from afar! I can only remember a Pat? I hope to visit soon!
